Daily devotions are important for everyone, especially for pastors and pastor’s wives. Today we discuss how we carry out our daily personal devotions and how it has affected our lives and our ministry.
I struggle with chronic pain and sometimes wake up with zero desire to read & worship so I turn to RU-vid and pull up someone I really respect like Scott Pauly and watch a sermon.

I am a lay person and just found Sherry's "The Homespun Wife" today I think, and watched her video talking about PastorLife so I am a new subscriber to both. Thank you for opening PastorLife to everyone because I need a deeper walk with God and I know He is going to grow my faith and walk through these two channels. I will be praying for you and sharing your channels with my Pastor and his wife when they come back from a sabbatical the second week of August. I can hardly wait, I love them so much and know your ministry will be a blessing in a major way. I am going to share in my Monday night bible study also! I cannot tell you just how much I feel a connection with your ministries right from the beginning of learning of your channels! I know God was in the introduction by bringing up an opportunity to click on Sherry's channel about Scripture writing. I am in awe at how God works and how He answers prayer!!! I am 72 and feel like time is too short for me to not live my life like Jesus wants me to, T consistently! . My family doesn't know Him (there are 14 of us living under one roof) and I don't want to leave this earth without a solid witness for Him that will live long after I go home to heaven. If I can with God's help plant some good seed then God can by His Spirit bring it to fruition in His timing for their salvation. Thank you both for being part of the HOPE I have for them!!!
Oh My... I just came across this channel & did not realise it was a separate channel from 'The Homespun Wife'. I know I was meant to watch this, because my late husbands FAVORITE painting was 'Starry Night' 💖

Hello Sherry and Vince! I almost missed this video. Guess I forgot to hit the notification bell. I do daily scripture reading and writing although the writing has been more miss, then hit lately. But also we as a family do daily devotions, which has been really fulfilling. We even have a mini chapel service without singing. I would like to try writing devotions. But haven’t done so yet.
