Great interview, thanks Simarpreet! If you get the general back, it might be nice to ask him a bit more about his experiences during the wars that he was involved in. So his comments on the different wars/operations, his experiences, what went well and what went badly, what were the learnings and any other comments that he may wish to make. Since he was commissioned in 1959, he must have participated in the 1962, 1965, 1971 wars. Also things like the Nathua La/Cho La clashes in 1967, IPKF operations, Maldives etc. Also what was life like in the license permit quota raj before 1991. Views on reforms in the armed forces like pensions, Agnipath etc would also be interesting. Lol there's no end to it I guess. :)

I am convinced now there are only 2 people in India Nikhil Kamath & Simarpreet Singh who can bring a Bollywood actor to a leading entrepreneur to a doctor to a economist and have a in-depth discussion with them. The amount of research you guys most be doing would be remarkable.

I am telling you this was so fulfilling episode I thought the host Simarpreet is a journalist searched about him got to know he is running one of India’s leading solar company he is also Forbes under 30 asia… Harvard graduate simply wow!! If this is ur criteria then why Mr jaspal bindra is not able to give returns to its shareholders from past 6 year nd itni tezz Market mein.look at its peers given multifold returns to its investors....hum 6 saalon se bewkuf oon ki tarah isko hold kre hue hain..
He is a smart guy.Got all support from RBI for banking license at the cost of PMC Bank depositors money.He has got all the assets of PMC Bank but depositors are made beggars for their own money.5lakh of first installment was not paid by him as he says but it was paid by DICGC. Depositors are not being paid any interest .The entire money of the depositors will be paid in installments over 10years without any interest which he is not mentioning.This is the scheme made by him with the help of RBI and he is very happy about it.Shame on him.Majority of the depositors are sikh customers and senior citizens who have become beggars today. 😢😢😢
RBI "bailed in" the PMC depositors and gave him the licence at the cost of senior depositors. The scheme of 10 years with no interest is without consent of depositors .It has left the senior citizens struggling to survive. 350 depositors are dead and many more will not see their deposits. What legacy is he dreaming of by running a bank on depositors hard earned savings? Unity is running on blood money of PMC depositors. Is this how he will make his parents proud?!?
Sir share holders kii maar ke rakhii huii haii inhone centrum capital ka share liyaa huaa haii pichle 6 years se @57 but not returns also negative returns nd look at its peers they have given multifold returns in this market...i think he is jus big mouth nothing else.. performance zero..
Hi Simarpreet this is a great video..as a suggestion to make your content more inteersting have a debate between Congress/Left leaning economists like Raghuram/Arvind Srinivasan/Montek and pro-BJP/rightwing economists like Krishnamurthy/Panagriya/Sanjeev etc..once in a while..most economists are good in cherrypicking data to advance their own theory..so only a healthy debate with agreed upon common data can restore clarity, especially for somebody who is not an economics expert, which is most of your audience
Chorr haii saala kahe ka grm...mein pichle 6 years se centrum capital ke share liye huee haii aachi quantity mein...jus bcoz I have bet on this men but given negative returns on it...on other hands look at its peers given multifold returns...aisa thodii hotaa haii..
