This is one thing I've not tackled yet, but have always loved to see good jobs done with tile. I also expect to do some tiling when I build the cabin. Little tips, like the leveling caps info, is exactly what I come here for. Also you make a very good video, no bs, no sales, no wasted time jabbering about nothing (like introductions! the super waste of time). If I were to make some videos, I'd likely follow your format in doing so. Thank you!
@@wadepatton2433 I think the layout is key, and found everything else comes together when I didn't rush. Those spacers with the red spin on levelers were worth every penny.
Very simple and best of all, it works. You were wise using strong galvanized steel fence wire and not aluminum. It's important for charger longer life to do 3 galvanized ground rods at least 10 feet apart. If you start killing chargers after 6 months or so, you might want to try this. Rod is a lot cheaper than chargers.
I have to do a similar project this upcoming winner here in Ohio so thanks for another great video that will help me complete the project. And I was wondering what type of sparkle to use so now I know (acrylic adhesive) and I’ll be sure to get the red guard. Do you get that at Lowe’s? And I think I’m going to put rockwool insulation in between the studs because Rockwool insulation is somewhat waterproof but I’m wondering should I put 3 mill thick plastic vapor barrier in between ?
@@trail70brent Hello there, i used the "ceramic tile" adhesive for the seams, and screw holes, it was specific for ceramic tiles, if you use "porcelain tiles" I would just use the "porcelain tile" adhesive. Check FB market first for the red guard, sometimes you can find a great deal; otherwise HD as I didn't see it at Lowe's. The only time I saw the recommendation for a vapor barrier was on an outside wall.
That is where I purchased mine, they work great with a couple of weeks. Just know they are the less expensive Asian knock offs, not the true name brand flow hive.
The issue you had with the 90 degree fitting would have easily been solved by putting a 90 degree fitting onto the hose and using the straight fitting in the housing
How has this Held up since when you installed it? How's the Performance? Any Issues So Far? Saw this On eBay but only has 5Yr Compressor Warranty & 1Yr Parts. However, I was Looking at another Company Acekool who Claims to have 10Year Warranty, Costs Only About $100 More. But I haven't Seen any Reviews Of them, They don't even have a Legit Website Showing their Mini Splits, That Means Certainly No Customer Service Or Support after the 30-60Day eBay Protection Period. So that Makes Me Skeptical. So, I'm thinking of getting this one, If its a Reliable & Dependable Unit.
@@nedunonnyp704 It is still working fantastic, the outside unit has surface rust on the metal grate that protects the fan. The energy consumption decreased on the electric bill, and the house feels much cooler. Check FB market place for local dealers, that is where I source, and my friends source their units from these days.
How does this hold up with strong winds? Does the top part sway from side to side badly? I have one similar with the plastic feet and yesterday we had some strong wind gusts and it swayed from left to right and almost bent over and i was so worried it was going to snap and end up on next doors driveway.
Good morning, it really moves when we have our daily afternoon thunder storms, sometimes when they are projected to be severe, my Son will remove the canopy. My Son wants to try shade cloth, as Florida's summers are long, and he doesn't want to take a chance if a severe storm blows in when he's not home. On a side note: if ya want to check out the one I put up for my RV, it has never been taken down, including during hurricanes, it is somewhat shielded by trees, and I did put anchors into the ground.
@@howididitthank you. I watched your other video and noticed that you have a rope from the corner to the ground? How did you do that and what did you use for the anchors. I assume that's why is held up to the high winds?
Thanks to you the A/C in my 2005 Saturn Ion is blowing ice cold ! I took your advice and even though the gauge showed that I had refrigerant , it was not enough ! I put more i , being careful not to over fill , and it worked ! Thanks !
@@jenniferwells2291 lol, that is an understatement, I sweep in the AM, it is amazing at how much hair the shed while sleeping, I also vacuum in the early evening, love my shark. When these 6 play it is like the kid Pigpen from Charly Brown, but instead of a brown cloud floating, it's white cloud.
