There are a few factors that play a role with scales, either cheap or expensive : resolution, repeatability, linearity and damping . You should use your cheap scale the way it’s designed to work. An expensive analytic scale will take seconds to stabilize but that’s a different league . The cheap scale work surprisingly well if you make it re-weigh by just touching it . A kernel of powder often ist enough to trigger the scale. If you know this these scales a useable for normal use ( to periodically check a powder load). For trickling loads for f class it’s a different story
I have had an adapter just like you show for over 30 years. I have filled many propane bottles like you show. People should read the warnings on the bottle that says it is illegal to re-fill the 1 lb bottles and transport them. ** You keep saying let the air out, air is what we breathe. The air we breathe is a mixture of gases, by volume 78.1% nitrogen, 21.0% oxygen, 0.9% argon, and 0.04% carbon dioxide. ** The propane bottles have liquid propane in them that changes into a gas to leave the upright bottle. A propane tank should not have air in it, propane in gas form but not air like we breathe. ** If a tank did get a little air in it, it would not fill right. But the air would bleed out when the bottle is upright and you use it a little or release the some of the propane gas in it very carefully like you show. Propane gas is heavier than air. ** I charged air conditioners since the mid 1960's and had to be careful not to let even a little air from the gauge set hoses into a system. ** Propane like refrigerants increases in pressure when it gets warmer and has a lower pressure when cool. That is why some people say to cool the 1 pound tank. The warmer 20 lb bottle will have more pressure in it than a cooled 1 lb bottle with just a little propane. For each temperature there is a certain pressure. Each different refrigerant has a different pressure temperature table. ** Also people need to know not to over fill the 1 lb tanks! When I camp I use propane from a 20 lb bottle with a hose to my portable Weber grill. There are now refillable 1 lb tanks but they cost $20 to $30. ** The 20 lb propane bottles are only legal to refill for 12 years after the stamped date. The work around is to exchange an old tank at a excange location like Lowe's. You only get 15 lbs of propane in the exchange tank.
Shooting a ak with that same bullet I was getting 1760 in a 15” barrel .308 rifling usa barrel . I made the charge using primer indicators and cycling ability. Later when I got a chronometer I tested my speed so i figured that was the “natural FPS “ that sort of bullet should be. But in a ak it had more case capacity but I was using powders not perfect for the ak Maby w748 or something. Covid caused a lot of issues for us and I sometimes resorted to duplex loads . Maby a 5grain spot to get the pressure up on a slower powder seemed to do the trick as needed. I used this reliably for a lot of rds.

Elvis Ammo, yet another RU-vidr who disappeared like a fart in the wind just like The Ammo Channel! You would think they would post an ending video where they say goodby. Could be the ATF just swooped in and they are now rotting in prison for some small infraction.
Should have mentioned it's very important to put the right connection on if your playing around with the solar panel wires. For extension cables it doesn't matter because the solar panel dictates what is positive and negative.
There is a heat , temperature rating on each type of anti sieze. The nickel type has a higher temperature rating. . I wouldn't recommend the aluminium type , since the aluminium can react to basic steel.
You should wait 45-60 seconds after a non fire round the primer compound can delay discharge! Led azide is the explosive compound used in most primers and it is acctualy unstable in general, I have personal experience with a explosion from primer compound and it was not pretty!
For your information since Gunpowder is made from stable chemicals, a long as it is kept dry, it will last indefinitely and not deteriorate at all. And "Gunpowder" is what DuPont called it and they had been making it since 1802 and should know what to call it. Gunpowder and Blasting powder same stuff different granulation.
Hi there, with casting bullets & cleaning your mold. If your not sure use rubbing alcohol, that will clean all oil residue from the mold. Will not have no more wrinkled bullets. That's what I always clean mine with, easier is not alway the best way. I do like watching your videos, always so informative THANK YOU for always helping us.
You do an outstanding job of teaching in a way that I can understand. Thank-you, thank-you, THANK YOU! Will you make some videos to teach me how to cast & powdercoat, and what tools I'll need?
