Bravo Asmik! But Kaufmann has the lot of vocal problems. His deep throat singing is absolutly anti - Puccini's stile and also is so far from really Melocchi vocal school..🤔
Tenorino, aunque hay que resaltar buena técnica, no es engolado y eso ya es ganancia. Que no se salga de ese repertorio, si no al rato lo traerán en Radamés, Calaf y Samson.
È la prima volta che mi.piace il finale di quest'opera..che avevo sempre trovato forzato e appiccicato a caso. Bella la regia. Peccato la scenografia assente.

Labai nedėkinga yra Turandot bet kokiai solistei. Sunki tokia neaiškios pikčiurnos rolė, o ir partitūra tik balso drąskymas. Asmik atliko nuostabiai ir tarsi pateisino Turandot tokį šaltumą ir piktumą. Gaila, bet pasidžiaugti operos vizualu niekaip nepavyko.
GREAT SINGER is Hasmik Grigoryan. She is really a true daughter of her father Gegham Grigoryan, who himself was a great singer. Very touching was the scene where father and daughter sang together.
Being a progressive thinking individual, I find this to be an interesting re-interpretation of the famous opera. But, sorry, but I think I will stick to the more traditional versions of Turandot. P.S.: I am a great Jonas Kaufmann fan.
I do not agree. Jonas is still one of the best. He has some better days. Nothing to do with his age...he has health problems and had to cancel many concerts...

❤❤❤👏👏👏 Bravo!!!Saw him a week or so ago at the MET in Romeo et Juilette. He already took Europe by storm and won 2020 Europe Opera Award for the Best Male Singer. His debut at the MET was delayed due to COVID. He has a beautiful voice and his high notes are thrilling. In addition, he sings with a lot of sensitivity. So glad he did not quit singing after failed so many auditions year after year until he finally gained the confidence and trusted in his own voice. Here is another new young talented tenor for me to follow for years to come.
I've not been this excited about a singer since Renee Fleming. Asmik has the range, the color, the flexibility, the power, the diction, the expression, and her acting meets all of those levels easily as well.
Terrible production,how could they modernize a beautiful opera like this,if it is not Jonas singing,it would be a flop,even Jonas looks like he is bewildered and asmik can sing but her acting is so so.I was thinking going to see it in June but coming from Canada would not be worth it.sorry I was waiting for Jonas as calaf but this production doesn’t suit him at all. 13:18
