Don't see the point.... All the clubs are on pioneer why don't they make it compatible I as about to change my traktor Z2 for this one if it would be compatible but no....
just got my djddj 800 nad love the hell out of it as for the 100 its the same as it should 2 channel instaed of 4 channels ,,im good on my part for the money and size as well ,,,
I have the DDJ-200, DDJ-400, DDJ-FLX6 & DDJ- 800(selling the 200) But the DDJ-800 is a flag ship to me. I dont think I will go to the DDJ-1000...I think the 800 has enough bells and whistles for me... but that's just me.
I’m a Old Skool DJ from the Technic’s Era , but I’m finally transitioning to using controllers. Started out using a Hercules DJ Mix Controller and still using that currently. Planning on purchasing the Pioneer DDJ 800 . Something about that controller just catches my eye. Definitely want that one !
What about the sound quality comparison when you are hooking up to a club mixer? Surely pioneer being the most common equipment pioneer cdc + pioneer mixer (at the club) will work better? Yea I know there is a mixer built in but the clubs gonna say go through their mixer right?
Some people might not like my saying this, but I'm going to. If you want a real controller that you'll enjoy immensely, go with either the 1000 or the 800. The 400 is crap compared to the other two aforementioned. I suppose that if one is desperate to own a controller but on an extremely TIGHT budget, then they could go with the cheap plastic and crampy 400. The thing is that once you've played around with the likes of a much better controller (e.g., the 800), there's no going backwards, IMO.
I have a gun 2018 macbook pro, i7, 16g ram, 2.5 ghz. I use traktor pro 3.6(2022) a traktor kontrol s4 mk3 with 2 turntable stanton T.92. It works, than it doesn't work. Basically its on then off, then on....offI. Im Getting low connection errors from the turntables. What do I need or what am I doing wrong?
Wanted a 800, realized 1000 is the better value and featured mixer, bought a 400 because of $$$. Ultimately the 400 is awesome for the price. Just wish it had dedicated fx switch and slightly larger jogs
Hey Chase! Love the vid. I got a question: when using the mic, must it be connected to deck C/D? Is there a way to use the mic without occupying a deck? I know in Pioneer CDJ 1000, the microphones pretty much has a channel for itself. Can you do that with Traktor s4?
It does not appear so. I was playing around with my S4 earlier and it seems a deck is the only way. My current setup goes out of the S4 and into a small Mackie mixer, which has XLR inputs for a microphone that I can EQ and adjust separately and keep 4 decks for music.
I've got a serious issue with this unit. Without touching the jogwheels the music starts stuttering. I made a #short of it.ru-vid.compxkqTYqgt2k?feature=share
Hi! Does the DJC-WECai with Wego4 can be connected to Ipad and a Power Bank instead of energy outlet? Or any way to use Ipad and a Power bank for more mobility?
Using the DDJ 1000 Rekcordbox and the DM 40 studio monitors via RCA cable, the audio suddenly gets disconnected from both the speakers and the headphones every 20-30 minutes. What could cause this?
I cant here anything on cue with my headphones While djying on DDJ 400 in a club has anyone experienced this? I am about to throw away this controller for tht. The other thing laptop freeze and music sounds numb. I never had tht issue before
Hi man thank you for the review! I'm starting to learn how to DJ, at 54 lol, and I'd love a powerful yet portable controller with powerful software on which to standard DJing but also do some remixes, live remixes, both with electronic music but also multigenre remixes, a bit of production and so on. Do you think the S4 MK3 is so far the only one who can do these sort of things? Thank you!!!!!
