Just upgraded from original. Moto2 is a fantastic update, and the powered mont is a very welcome addition. Moto2 also adds speed limit on navigation & speedometer screens, very nice. I ride a custom Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, so a big rectangle navigation is unwelcome
150 miles on my scr and 3 issues. Left the dealer with a faulty turn signal, its 46c where i live and the evap cannister is getting full and wont let the bike start, and lastly the bike shuts off in neutral putting the kick stand down and putting it back up still wont allow it to start needs to be in first or second. Other than that i really like it just annoying with the teething issues.
I have your solution. Do motorcycle reviews on any bike in stock, but do not release the video until the specific bike has been sold. Therefore, it's not marketing for your employer to try and sell the bike you're reviwing. I am a solutions man. You're welcome. ZG1400 rider from the Rangitikei district.
I use these in my commuter bike, been running around with one in the tyre for months, never had an issue & holds pressure just fine..... sure i wouldn't do a track day with one but im a big fan of them.
thank you for this, this is just what I needed, as a first time buyer its very confusing as to which model to buy, I have a Shoei Neotec 2 and im also looking at the Sena SRL2 which one would you buy, the Sena or the Cardo?
Thanks for the great review. You are probably getting cold because the jacket has wet out even if it hasn't got through the waterproof liner. Can't the waterproof liner be worn on the outside? That would stop the jacket wetting out and becoming cold.
Congratulations on your new job. I'm sure being involved in the industry where your passion lies has been a goal for you. Did love those commute videos though...
Two completely different cameras with completely different use cases. One is a really good action camera with loads of pro features, one is an ok 360 camera…
Nice video! Had this helmet for a few yeara but only now ordered my first headset, so I hope you see this comment. Anyway, I think I found thr place where the speakers should go, but there is some sponge glued inside. Do I pull it out before sticking the speaker inside, or?
Only pull it out if you need more space between your ears and the speakers. You don’t want the speakers touching your ears. Some have reported needing to cut a couple of millimeters of EPS out of the speakers holes.
@@MotoNZ ah, ok! Got it. One more question - how did you like your sun visor? I barely use mine as it fogs up constantly. No matter what I do it seems that the air I exhale always deflects towards the middle of the sun visor.
With you being a Cardo ambassador why would you even bother to review another brand? There is zero chance that you would recommend a cheaper brand over a more expensive Cardo. Perhaps you are insulated from the cost-of-living crisis that is making life difficult for many. For those people who can't just work more hours or find spare money a cheaper brand may be ok until they can afford something better. It is a good thing to have the choice and if a cheaper brand allows someone to feel safe and reachable to family while riding then go for it.
Fair point, and I assumed someone would bring this up sooner or later. I have made a solid effort to review the product fairly. I did tell Fodsports I was a Cardo ambassador when they reached out to me. Cardo are more expensive, but in my honest opinion, they are justified as they are a far superior product. Thanks for watching
I cant seem to get it to work. Could someone help? Like i can connect it but i dont hear anything afyer recording. I know the mic works cause hey cardo still works. I have the hero 12 and a packtalk edge
Great comparison between Cardo and Sena. I personally went the Cardo edge for many of the same reasons you described. I am trying to connect my Cardo edge to the CB radio on the Goldwing. I know Sena has a freewire bluetooth unit, that will connect to the Cardo, but I heard you can’t transmit through the Cardo, only receive. Any thoughts?
My thing is... I wanna hear the bike, more than I wanna hear the person. At the very least, they can be even level.. But I'm really tryna hear that bike talk, not the person.
Did you test it off road? Thoughts? Im not an off road rider but I’m planning a long trip trough south American roads (dirty, muddy roads). I’m considering buying one of these
Japan's answer to the BMW S1000XR. I really miss the 1250 Bandit they used to make. Shove below even 4,000 rpm was turbine-like, diesel-like. No 1L engine can do that. And that 1250 was affordable, unlike the GX.
Hi there. Thank you for your videos! We've tried a few other brands of intercom/bluetooth devices. None of them have good to any sound quality whether with intercom between driver and pilion or bluetooth with phone, over 60 km/h (37 miles/h). We're using full faced helmets. Will the Cardo Packtalk Edge work for us? Thanks!
In my experience, Cardo's Packtalk Neo, Edge and Pro offer clear "wideband" audio via DMC, and more than enough volume to use on the open road with or without earplugs.
Cardo does not have mesh in the sense that everyone can connect in a group ride without pairing. Cardo is for solo riders and Sena for people that have friends.
No sign of it here in the USA yet. Sooooooooo jealous! Does anyone have an idea of the highway range loaded with luggage? This look perfect for what I want to do next season between Yosemite, Nevada Sierras and the Grand Canyon North Rim before heading back east. Have some desert roads and loops planned. My first bike way back when was an ‘84 Honda CM450 when I lived in Las Vegas in the late 80s early 90s
This was tested WITH the low seat installed on your other video, correct? Did you measure the difference in ground clearance after the install? Helpful vids, thanks for sharing.
hi, sorry, might have missed it, so i have a few helmets, if i get a pro, what other model bases will it work with? all the magnetic ones? are those base sets available on own? cheers 'n appreciated
