I am new to revolvers (and firearms all together). I am 51 years old on the verge to purchase my second gun. I am strongly considering purchasing the gun shown in this video. But I also do not like the short grip that comes with it. Only until recently I realized that one can change the grip. (oh! that was new to me. I was considering the S&W 686 plus deluxe since it comes with a full size grip). Can somebody advice me on where to buy a full size grip for this particular gun (S&W 627 PC)? I read the Hogue makes good grips. Any thoughts? And finally pardon my ignorance, would the overall performance of the gun would be affected by changing it for a full size grip? Many thanks in advance for answering my questions. Ricky
I did this to my trp stainless and it blew the entire front end of the gun off. Spring plug and recoil spring went downrange. Bushing broke and went downrange as well. Im sure i messed up somehow. Any thoughts?
Just picked one up a couple of weeks ago. Shooting 310 gr. cast from Lee mold. Just ordered Accurate Mold to throw 265 gr. Keith Style and 310 gr. flat nose, sizing both to .431 and launching with All isn't Steel for practice or 2400 for bear, hog and mountain lion defense.
I’ve had my Walther ppk/s .22 for 6500 rounds. I’ve found that it likes CCI mini mags target copper coated because they have a more consistent and accurate fill of propellant. It will jam 1% of these cartridges, and after 200 rounds will jam sometimes 2-3%. It needs to be well cleaned and lubricated at 400 rounds which is fairly easy to do. I had to replace the main recoil spring at 4500 rounds, bought from Walther Arms. I highly recommend this firearm if you think my observations are reasonable. Bought it for $400 in 2022. Made in Germany/Ft Smith AR USA.
I voted for a lumber ban a long time ago, and this is why. Also creativity, that has GOT TO GO! Thinking for one's self is just not a good idea. Anything fun, also, got to go!
A excellent video on the glock 30s better than a 1911 and less money more rounds and easy to clean and take apart and all parts you need on the internet 🇦🇹💯👍
3/4” to 1” exposed spring can not bind,in the spring channel there is no room for it,because with every shot the guide rod engages in the spring holding it in place, slide returns to battery.and it’s ready for the next shot.Simple ingenuity from the master mind of Mr.Browning.Period no argument about this topic.
ordered the X#X6 rings for mine today after seeing this video. I was going to go with high rings but after this the extra high is exactly what I needed. Now I will have an RMR, a Red Dot and scope to use with it along with open sights. Very versatile Thanks
