It is beautiful. I have a Springfield Armory 1911 A1 but is parkerized and I think it's a beautiful gun also. Very smooth action and great trigger.

You sir are spot on, beautiful simple lines, polished flats and rosewood grips.

I have had my Springfield 1911 A-1 GI stainless pistol for many years and it is hard for any gun to match its beauty. I shot a military owned 1911, 45 acp, overseas in either 1969 or 70. It was not a beauty although it was super accurate even out past 25 yards. It was new but painted in an ugly OD green. Older ones were flat black. My 1911 is also accurate, but I prefer heavier terminal impact calibers such as the 10 mm, 44 magnum, and the 454 Casull. I would like to purchase a 1911 in 10 mm -used, but in good shape & at a decent price. J. Moses Browning's 1911 design will most likely be with us in some odd caliber (if not in 45 acp) when our future pioneers colonize Mars.

Yes it is. And will do...well, I tried. Even RU-vid over complicates something as easy as posting a picture. My slide show is still active but I posted a before and after shot on my FB page, Shoot 9mm.

I have the same gun, but in the parkerized version. I've had no problems at all with my gun. I did have ONE ftf, but that was a factory miss-loaded reload.(Check my vid) One of my favorite guns to shoot.

I put Mother of Pearl grips on my 1911 Gi stainless, ITs so shiny, I need sunglasses just to shoot it..
