At some point you should visit Abbotsford, near Melrose home of Sir Walter Scott. Wonderful house , beautiful gardens and grounds and a lovely tea room and gift shop.

Excellent video. I was there in April. We spent 4 days is Glasgow. We had gorgeous weather. We did the red bus City tours thing and it was great. It took as to a lot of the spots where we could just hop on and hop off. The cone was hilarious. I got a fridge magnet with the cone lol I can’t wait to visit again. Greetings from Canada

Firstly thank you thank you thank you for showing this beautiful city in such a interesting and pictorial perspective. I lived at the Former RAF Pitreavie in the 70s and have always wanted to return, so early this year we did and we manged to spend a few hours in Dunfermline before having to move on in the campervan but we decided we had to come back and spend more time because there is so much I did not see as a child, I loved going to the Glen and remembered seeing the squirrels and they were still there!!! So we have saved your video and will make notes and points of interest for when we return in December, regards James and Tracy PS "Got ya a wee coffee in, drink it slowly mind, it's hot" ☕😉

@@DavidWheaterScotland Morning David from a very soggy Nth Wales (we're use to it) we will rewatch and make notes as there are a few places we definitely don't want to miss and also as we are heading there 1st week in December we will rely on some indoor options just in case we need to, thanks again, I do appreciate the work that goes into filming and editing and getting it out there to the masses, regards James

@@DavidWheaterScotland, Learned to canoe on the River Almond, spent summers on the beach. And enjoyed rounds of golf with my dad on Silverknowes Golf Course. With all the courses around Cramond, if you sliced the ball, you could start on one course and end up playing on another.

Glorious David. Beautiful castle and grounds. You are so lucky to be surrounded by all this incredible history . Castle is architecturally very magnificent.
I have to agree, Floors Castle seems like a fairytale. Very much enjoyed watching and appreciating the rich history that stands there, Beautiful! what an experience, thank you for sharing
Outstanding! Floors Castle is truly beautiful! I am actually astonished though, that I had never heard of this wonderful Castle till now. Yet it is really magnificent! It is so majestic in every way! I also really love the design of the Castle, with the beautiful 'dome' turrets & 'lacy' looking edging all around the Castle. Floors really is a very uniquely designed Castle! Moreover, the setting of the Castle is also very beautiful.There are so many breathtaking views in every direction. Especially 'Scott's View." That is truly spectacular! Leave it to Sir Walter for choosing & having the best taste in Views, as he did in all things. The Gardens are also spectacular! Stunning! One could joyfully walk around these lovely Gardens for hours, day after day, just drinking in the Peace & Beauty there. I also love how you take the wee closeups of the pretty flowers & cute wee insects. That is fascinating! Especially the fuzzy wee bees & lovely butterflies. Delightful! Not to mention, the wonderful footage of those magnificent Horses. I also really loved the Gift Shop there! It looks wonderful! So many unique & lovely Gifts, along with such delicious, delectable & delightful looking Food Items. I would definitely love to shop there...and eat! LOL. The Shop is like a wonderful combination of a Gift & Farm Shop. Perfect combination! Also, I just love Farm Shops...and Gift Shops too! Well, David, this experience was just terrific! One of your very best & that's saying a lot! Thank you for sharing this delightful experience at the beautiful Floors Castle. Blessings to you! 🐎🐝🦋🏰🌞

Hello everyone, hope you're well. We visited the beautiful Floors Castle last week which is located in the Scottish Borders, near Kelso. We had a lovely time and I really hope you enjoy seeing our visit. The interior is full of the most amazing portraits and treasures and the gardens are just a delight. It's a very friendly place and if you're planning to visit the Scottish Borders I can thoroughly recommend visiting.
