I had 1.6fsi and can easliy say it’s the best car I have had , and that’s after having Range Rover , Mercedes , this little beast is awesome and so underrated
Had my 2003 1.4 petrol A2 since new 179,000mls so far. I have just changed the original suspension arms and exhaust so even the steel bits are quality. Enjoy your car and keep sharing.
Areas that have caused me issues are indicators failed but was a relay , £20 odd to buy second hand. Rear axle was badly corroded, £80 second hand. Washer jets, £20 odd to buy second hand,. Best thing you can do is join the A2 owners forum, best place for spares and advice. Honesty a great group of people
Thank you, such a gutting experience. The work, and financial commitment, that goes into things like this, and it's gone. just like that. I'm doing better now, thank you. we will get another one, but maybe one that's complete/nearer completion. don't know yet. Thank you for watching x
Actually, it’s not really a fault of the Bosch wipers blades. The tab on the E46 drivers side wiper arm is designed to work with the old style wiper blades and should be removed when you upgrade to the new style wiper blade. The new style wiper blades from the BMW dealer come with an instruction to do exactly that. Cheers!
The gearbox worries me... And it's not a French Box (thank God!) It's actually Japanese! AISIN developed it... so fingers crossed. I am really thinking about buying one of these cars. Maybe in white (hate bright colours like yellow or blue). Want a more discreet color. Or grey. Looks elegant on Grey. One thing: does ANYONE has something to say about sound quality? Saw so many reviews. No-one speaks about that. I know it's not Harman kardon or Bose 😂😂 But... is it any good? It's something I really appreciate in a car. Great video. Thank you so much Big hug from Madeira Island, Portugal 🇵🇹
Nice video, I just subscribed your to channel and as a bus enthusiast I love the fact that you've got a Ford Transit bus/van. I found quite an interesting video of an IVECO Daily bus and it's actually quite clean and tidy considering it's age ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LoUU_Yj2v30.html.
I'm planning on doing my floor Insulation the same way but I'm worried that the foam will compress when you walk over the plywood. Do you find this happens?
Rear wiper blades are not covered in an MOT, at least they're not in a car anyway. When doing your bulb checks you should have got someone to check your brake lights as well.
Why are people obsessed with "hard plastics"?? Every single small car I've owned had textured "hard plastics" including Ford, Toyota and Nissan! What you want polished walnut?? Buy a Bentley then 🙄🙄
The main problem with the 1.2 Puretech is the wet belt which is bathed in oil and which disintegrates (crumbles) on contact with this oil to clog the lubrication circuit (notably the strainer, resulting in loss of pressure and poor lubrication). of the engine which breaks down). Many owners have been victims of this aberrant conception!
I am testing one of these tomorrow we have it for 3 days. Took it for a quick spin around tne block today when it turned up, felt very nice, looking forward to the next 3 days testing it on delivering
I used 1 resistor 3 Ohm and one diode 1N4001 connected in series for bypassing the sensor. And it worked. The cathode of the diode should be connected to the blue wire of the connector.
F.Y.I. The seat does not need to be removed. The part can be installed from the back seat area. You just need to move the seat forward and the sensor is right there. But, unfortunately, the new part didn't work for me. That said, I don't have a scanner to determine the problem. I just was hoping that it would turn off my SRS light. For $11 it was worth a try.
@@rattijuoppo5539 I bought mine on Ebay. As mentioned above, I didn't have a diagnostic tool so I'm just trying different things. It didn't work for me so you can have mine for $10.00 plus shipping if you want. I've tried everything on RU-vid to no avail. I'll need to go to the dealer and spend $$$$$$.
£900 bargain, the "wierd cassette'" thing is an aux adapter for tour cassette player, and the "atf" thing under your bonnet is the power steering reservoir, the black round thing next to it on the left incidentally is the oil filter housing. The sump drain plug is obviously underneath and comes with a copper crush washer which will come with a decent new oil filter along with rubber o rings change these when you give her an oil change to keep leaks from these places down, enjoy your car from a fellow e46 owner
P.s. that’s where I should be sitting 1:43 ;) I can actually see myself sitting on the 1st row bench, my fav seats to sit and all the seats where my fav benches to sit, especially the single seat in the fourth row on the driver’s side with the speaker on my right side, it be just me sitting every seat in the bus listening to my music till I drain out the battery, re charge it and start again till my heart’s content. ;) Ty for reading my essay Boss, I Appreciate it and Respect it from you, Love from me And.🙏🏿❤️🙌🏿😘🚐😘

I’m doing exactly the same as you at the moment with a 15 seat mk7 transit. I’ve broken 3 T50 bits so far! I need the bolts out so I’ve been underneath to wire brush the excessive amount of thread sticking out the bottom, that helped. Great van. Looking forward to following your project.
Thank you, they were an absolute bitch 🤣 and then struggled to get rid of them. Tip wouldn't take them, scrappers wouldn't take them.....I had a genius moment and asked a local minibus hire company if they wanted spare seats, and they did 🤷🏻♂️🤣 Good luck with it mate, hope it goes well 👍🏻
