Interesting you came out with this video. I changed to lithium on my 2022 Bullet last year, 100AH, but upgraded to 200AH and installed a inverter and added another solar panel. At the time I didn't think about the converter, as it was set up for a AGM battery. So last week I installed an automatic detection converter to accommodate what ever battery type is installed. It seems to work fine with one install mishap. The lugs for the wires were so tight I broke the screwdriver tip trying to loosen one of them. Oh well, replacement screwdriver coming. Thanks for the info and have a good day.

It’s always something with RV ownership. Go move on the changing the converter. This will add life to the battery.

My 5'er has a charge/converter. I don't think the electric panel has any charge function. I'll have to look at it. Thanks for sharing. It's amazing how budget friendly these batteries are getting.

Our Gateway had a separate charger converter. If not lithium ready, easy to change.

Your trip started and ended at Rocky Point Parking Lot on GA 190. Cool! Often less crowded than the larger parking area at the Pine Mountain Trail terminus at the WJSP-TV tower, it's a favorite starting point of mine, also. Glad you had a good time! Nice camera work and you picked a perfect time to catch the Mountain Laurel in bloom. *** As a Pine Mountain Trail life member, maint. volunteer of 15+ years (chainsaw work) and one of the editors of the official PMT map, there are a few details from the video that need clarification. There is no "Wolf Den Trail" as stated in the video. The app on your phone actually says correct name: Wolf Den Loop. =) The Wolf Den Loop is comprised of miles 18-23 of the blue blazed Pine Mountain Trail and the white blazed 1.7 mile Beaver Pond Trail. There are no "spurs" on the loop. Any path not marked by a blue or white paint blaze is not part of the actual trail and was created by hikers not adhering to the actual trail, like the one in the video near trail mile 22 in the video. Lastly, the Pine Mountain Trail is 23 miles long, not 26-27. We strongly recommend hikers purchase a Pine Mountain Trail map at the F.D. Roosevelt State Park office and primarily plan their hikes using it vs. an app. We have had to rescue many hikers who have gotten lost due to errors in an app. One has over 20!

I bought the 50amp version. Used it for the first-time and it wouldn't run both ACs on my camper. Use a 3500 watt generator at first and it kept tripping so changed to a 5000 watt inverter generator and still won't run both ACs. I did plug in the provided neutral plug. Went to the app and changed from pedestal to size generator that l was using. Do you have any advice to share with me to fix the issue...lt wouldn't run the fridge and 1 AC unit
@iLoveRVlife
@iLoveRVlife 6 дней назад
Sorry to hear you’ve having an issue. I usually run one AC with the fridge, but have run both ACs. When both are on, I trip the breaker to the Charge / converter. It’s 75 amps and if it turns on with both ACs it exceeds 30 amps and overloads the generator. I don’t know your set up. Looking at the app gives load information if something is running high amps. I’d suggest contacting Active Control. They know the product and can offer assistance based on your RV, power requirements, etc. I’ve found them to be very helpful.

Two thumbs up Jerry 👍👍. I watched 3 RU-vid videos on this 50 amp plug and play soft start and you have sold me. I just purchased this 50 amp unit with the surge protection through your link. Thanks for the additional $40 off the $800 price tag, I found that out at checkout. 👍👍😃 I will receive it next Monday and two days later we take our 41 foot Cyclone toyhauler to a campground with only 30 amp power. This will be the perfect time to check this baby out. I can’t wait. Great video you put out on this soft start and I’m your newest subscriber. Bravo Zulu Jerry. ♥️

It was one of my great great grandfathers who left Rabun County following the Civil War headed with an ox cart for Oklahoma. . He had been too young but all his brothers had served with the "Rabun County Beauregard Braves" during the War of Northern Aggression.. I have never visited but after watching your video I'm inspired. It's not that far from our part of South Carolina. Update: Just watched your video from Bryson City. My Great Great Grandfather's family had migrated to Rabun County from the Bryson City area. If you can make it out to Watts Oklahoma you'll have the journeys of that branch of my family covered.
