Orion Philosophy is a project to help people learn about practical and usable philosophy with the aim of developing the way we think about ourselves, other people, and the world around us.
We have other social media and a core website (linked on our RU-vid channel), but the purpose of this RU-vid channel, alongside our growing community, is to share the best bits of philosophy with you. Our goal is to share high-quality narration and philosophy as clearly as possible and help people learn some tools to use in their own lives.
Specifically, the philosophy is to help with resilience, peace of mind, happiness, gratitude, and a more constructive outlook on life itself and our place within it.
I hope you find something useful!

☀It is time to view philosophy as a trade skill and advise individuals to apply its teachings practically rather than viewing it as a mere theoretical exercise.
My 63 years of life experience caused me to come to many of the same conclusions as the Stoics long before I knew what one was. Thank you Pocket Philosopher.
These are my favorite type of lessons! This video was my introduction to Stoicism. I have along way to go with applying these lessons everyday, but it has really helped answer some questions I've had for many years and how I can deal with them. Finding happiness in life is freedom for my mental state. Thank you:)
I'm broke, alone, without a wife or girlfriend, without family, and without money-all I have in my bank account is $150-as I listen to this at the gym right now. This makes me feel like I'm not alone. I hope that things will improve for me in the future. Even though I try not to feel alone when I watch these videos, I find it depressing to be alone. (My life has changed after reading this comment for a year. I exercise more and I look better. I consume a balanced diet. I moved to a new place to work as an aviation big manager. I had no idea that all would alter in just a year. My financial condition is getting better every day. I appreciate all of the remarks. I appreciate all of your help.
Thank you for this insightful video on Seneca's advice to make time slow down by being attentive and avoiding autopilot. I found it incredibly helpful. I appreciate the way Seneca emphasized the importance of living in the present and making the best use of our time by engaging in meaningful activities and reflection. As your days, he believed that time is our most valuable possession, and we should guard it fiercely, spending it wisely on pursuits that enrich our lives and souls. Your video beautifully captured this essence, and I appreciate the reminder to be mindful in our daily lives.
I hope everyone who reads this learns to believe in their inner strength and silence the deafening noise of the world. Keep your heads high, chins up, and stay strong 💪
