I learned how to knit in the 5th grade and I’ve been doing it for so long I can go souly off feel. I’ll knit scarves on the band bus to and from away games and I’ll knit with my eyes closed on the way back at night so I don’t strain my eyes. I think it’s a cool party trick of sorts because not only am I knitting in front of you, I am maintaining eye contact and holding a conversation with you at the same time. Also the yarn I use for my scarves is the lions brand go for faux chunky yarn so it’s hard to see what you’re doing anyway so going off feel is the easiest
I learned how to crochet TODAY! It was my 3rd attempt but for some reason something just clicked and I was able to work it out 😅 I have been crocheting the past 2-3 years as too lol
As a 12 year old who learned to knit when I was 11 from your channel and learned to knit, I feel like it’s funny to watch you learn something that I learned already, when you taught me the thing that started it all ❤
Hi there holly! I just wanted to let you know that YOU were the first person who taught me how to crochet and i find it incredible that people can knit after crocheting first (i have tried this and failed horribly) I really appreciate your channel ❤
That first one is why I’m making a temperature scarf instead! Is it probably going to be overly unnecessarily long? Yes. Do I care? No. I’m also putting different charms on the end of specific days (holidays/memorable occasions/etc) to help remember things :D wishing everyone luck with their projects!
7:19 you were my first ever person to watch to start crocheting! I had to watch someone else for a slip knot but you taught me how to chain, hold my yarn, single crochet and dmouble crochet and everything else! But I taught myself how to change colors 😅❤❤❤❤❤
