Aww, the fact that you made it for him because hes tall and clothes sometimes dont fit properly makes me so happy! You see, my father is a VERY. TALL. MAN. Im not even exaggerating, he is well over 7 feet 2 inches tall!!! Finding clothes that fit his proportions is very frustrating for him and it makes me sad😢 Someday though, I am going to teach myself how to sew clothes so I can make him comfortable clothing 😊 Sorry for the random rant, I just love my father so much.

Aweeee yes you get it! I was so so so happy to be able to make him his first oversized hoodie!! I really want to learn to sew because it'll be so much easier i think to keep making exactly the sizes we want! Let me know how your learn to sew journey goes! Just to let you know: you can knit with any kind of yarn, wool included! Some novelty yarns are harder to use but nothing is impossible with proper techniques

On the LK 150 knitting machine!? I need to do more research I just heard one knitting machine RU-vidr say you couldn’t do wool?

@@HollyAuna I have the same exact machine. It’s very versatile. I even use some of hand spun yarns when I am spinning consistently (not art yarn that would be the exception) but wool works like butter in the machine. You just need to play with the tension mast and dial. Since it’s a mid gauge you can stretch its use to almost lace weight yarns if you don’t mind holey fabrics to using it as if it were a bulky machine by using every other needle. Swatching and washing your swatches to see if you like the end result is your best bet. I’m planning to make a simple tote bag with wool I spun that feels too coarse for my taste. But the fiber was way cheaper than acrylic… I will then full the fabric to make it real sturdy. Have fun and keep making videos it’s fun to watch the two of you! Hugs from Provence, Adrien 😘

OH MY GOD I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES. Personally my favorite film is Mockingjay: Part Two, but my favorite book is Catching Fire 😁. The sweater looks super cute and super awesome!! You could put elastic in the cuff if you wanted a tight cuff. I tend to crochet a rib on my knits lol. I don't have a machine though.

I have never used a knitting machine but I have noticed when crocheting that Caron Pound is thicker than like Red Heart even though both are a 4 weight so that maybe why getting stuck

The way you taper the sleeve is you decrease on the ends Every certain amount of rose.
