Tally hall is just three things Shit that makes you ascend Shit that makes you a poet And shit that gives you an estetential Crisis I couldn’t spell that last one I’m dumb
13:41 This is exactly how I got into Tally Hall! I thought my dad played Marvin's Magical Mechanical Meuseum and even recognized the album cover, but none of the songs were saved on his Spotify playlist, and he never listened to it before. Tally Hall is the kind of band that gives you dementia and deja vu, but you don't mind
Then theres always that moment of bliss and excitement whenever greener plays after good day, taken for a ride after welcome to tally hall, or like ruler of everything after 13
aristotles denial is honestly one of joes best songs. take a listen if you havent. also btw every moment of my time watching this video was spent in fear because i was nervous for TME
I don’t think the meaning behind banana man is a mystery; the song was a playful homage to Harry-Belafonte-style Calypso music, and the most famous song from that genre to American ears is Dayo, a song about working in a banana field. I think they just started from there and then riffed a bit until it became what it is
You should listen to Empire Ants - Gorrilaz , it's a nice song and it would be cool for you to rank gorrilaz songs, although I don't think you will because of how many songs there are.

also im like 80 percent sure its bora on the japanese parts and joe on the french part on Space Station Level 7. Also, I completely agree with your opinion on Greener, its my personal favorite track
sorry i keep commenting I have a lot of TH opinions. but i feel the same about Greener as you feel about Never Meant to Know. Also, Dream Sweet in Sea Major is literally the song of all time, this video was incredible. I dont remember the last time I subbed to someone on youtube, but you earned it.
Woah I didn't know you still uploaded This was a very interesting video! I agree with the point you made about the necessity of changes when adapting to different forms of media. Changes when adapting to film can help a story flow better and provide different perspectives and even new fans. While this can sometimes backfire and make a certain work more disliked than the original, I still believe creative liberties should be made to adapt works and make it stand out from the original. I have now read through the short story of Everyday Use by Alice Walker so I'm definitely gonna check out the short film adaptation! Great Video as always!
Great ranking! Even if I don't agree with everything, it's just really interesting to see how other people interpret music. (Also you should maybe put an epilepsy warning for 23:20 )
It's funny to me that you didn't like "Turn the Lights Off" much, since it was the only song on Good and Evil that I remembered after my first listen, and was the reason I came back to the album. And still my favorite from it. Buuut I'm not really a Tally Hall fan, just an occasional returning listener. Thanks for all the wonderful perspectives! I'll have plenty to consider when I listen to the three albums again.
im glad to see hymn for a scarecrow get some love after your decision change. i also initially shared the opinion that it overstayed its welcome, but after giving it a few listens, i really enjoy how the song lets you settle into the existential crisis the song brings
