Body work is insanely expensive (if you want it done right). I got a little bit of curb rash on the underside my front bumper and it was $1,200 to get fixed.
@@R8FKL it was my fault - what I wanted was for them to fill in the scrapes with some filler and call it a day … what I got was them removing the entire bumper, repainting the whole thing, and recalibrating all of my parking sensors. They grossly over complicated the entire thing and then charged me an arm & a leg for it 🙄
I'm at about 2300 miles, so getting there myself! I thought the 1000-mile change was a bit overkill. You can view your mileage by cycling through the menu options -- I believe it's the fourth one down.
Absolutely would/could daily it! Here in Phoenix - drove my RZR (w/ plates) for years, kids to school, errands and antics. Hilarity ensued. MOST attention was from seasonal Arizona visitors only surpassed by buddies Ariel Atom. <- which we later convoyed from Nogales, AZ (Mexico border) to Sweetgrass, MT (Canada border) 1585 miles in a single calendar day (I was riding a BMW K1600GT). Comically the most frequent question at (express/exigent fuel stops) was 'is that thing (Atom) street legal?? I think we need a couple Sierras now, better mpg than the TRX daily!
There is only one solution - custom valve controller from Miltek. That fixed mine. The problem is that the ECU gets misaligned with the position of the valve and only Lotus can recalibrate it. Unless you replace with a custome valve controller which always keeps the valve open ( you want that) and returns “all ok” to ECU.
You can build a crosskart on the cheap… don’t get turned off because dude paid $50k for his. Some people have money for that, many don’t. And still others want the build experience and ability to customize exactly to what they want. Anyway, you could build one of these, basics, for 1/10th what he paid. KJ Raycing on RU-vid is a great place to start. Dude knows his stuff, and can help you get started too. peace
