Hi! I'm Jason Inman! For over 10 years I have been creating geeky, educational, content for you. If you've found this page then maybe you've seen one of my videos, listened to one of my podcasts, read OR watched something I’ve written. My passion is storytelling across media. I love sharing original stories and exploring the pop culture pantheon. Education is a cornerstone of my work and the content I create to bring geek culture to the world. In the past I co-hosted DC All-Access for years, and I currently work for a Television drama.
Here's some of the media we've created! Award-Nominated Geek History Lesson Podcast Award-Nominated Comic Books (Jupiter Jet series, Science!, Super Best Friend) Jason & Jeremy Jawing About Justice League Podcast Video Documentary Series (Crisis Club, Blackest Night Club) Prose Books (Super Soldiers) Narrative Web series (The Red Shirt Diaries) Jawiin Charity Drive for Service Members (6 years teamed with Operation Gratitude)
I have the run of Superboy in Hypertime. Def fav run. Imagine a superboy that grew to full maturity as Superman vs the superboy we all know but also thrown in are a bunch of superboy variants. Including a one superboy prime.
Thank you for doing this . I grew up with Shazam the TV series In the 1970's and the cartoon in the 1980's. I even had a Super Powers figure of him. I have multiple books of the Shazam characters . I loved the movies along with now the Lego minifigures .
I collect DC MULTIVERSE action figures and Mega Figs. And I would like to see all Lanterns of every Corps as action figures. I know that'll be a long time from now. And that's if Todd McFarlane would do just that. But I just want you two to know that I enjoy the video. But right now what I really want to see is Larfleeze as a DC MULTIVERSE action figure and I heard there's a Parallax Sinestro coming too. So I'll just keep on hoping.
"This is a very real picture of a Sasquatch in a blizzard." ....Dude, that had me dying I am hooked. I love this. Can't wait for it. Keep on doing what you do. Boys, Sasquatch in a blizzard. I'm dying. I'm absolutely dying.
Congratulations on your journey! And most important thank you for keep doing it and make some company while driving and working. GHL!! (I'll send something)
C.O.M.P.U.T.O. ... kinda like F*R*I*E*N*D*S, which was always how the show showed the title, but "people" (in articles online) don't necessarily put it ...
That was fantastic there u should ones like this regularly it's the 60th anniversary now u guys can make another one to update it and even make one in ten years for the 70th
I’m old enough to have bought ‘Tales of Asgard’ at the newsstand. It was right up there with my all-time favorites. I was always disappointed that they didn’t do a lot more of them. 😢 BTW, one of my small pet peeves about Thor was that they had a long handle on Mjolner. According to the myth, the handle was very short because of interference by Loki, and only Thor could handle it for that reason. Aloha from Hawaii guys from an old boomer comic fan-and fan of yours. 😊🤙
Okay, I can't find your links to your Lana Lang stories that you were recommending or the tweet. Comic book medium is just so hard to navigate, but I am very curious
All-Star Superman is so good! But I am a fan of the nineties Death of Superman, Funeral for a Friend, Reign of the Supermen, and Return of Superman. I also am a big fan of the three Superman: Earth One volumes
Jason and Ashley, you guys are the best! I've listened to Geek History Lesson religiously for the past 2-3 years and have greatly enjoyed it! I have been a fan of DC Comics for as long as I can remember and when I found GHL, I instantly fell in love. You two are hilarious and I love your personalities and always look forward to a new episode every week!
I love Lois, she has no powers and is incredible, she became an important character even without her romantic partner, my favorite female character in the comics.
1stbepisode of the asam west batman had a scene where the qunt explainded how either bruce or his father attended 😮 yale and were part of the skull and bones society's
As much as I'd like the golden age omnibus volumes I'm poor. I did find a nice big cheap hardback called "wonder woman the war years" which has a nice selection with some contextual writing though which I really love.
Although they don’t reveal her age in the comics she’s 31 on the show. She’s 14 during the car accident and 17 years later she’s running Alias (season 1).
