just from a slight touch from my coloured lenses the feeling hurt so badly I wanted to yell and later started laughing from the pain as the liquid it was in made my eye feel like every drop of liquid was vaporised
Super Cute and classy ❤ Incase you wanted to know dip is loose powdered acrylic that uses a cosmetic resin/glue. But I feel like she did it so you can have a smooth finish since acrylic powder with monomer is a little more easier to “mold” End result gorgeous. 🎉
Dip is acrylic. Why tf are techs using dip, the shittier less sanitary DIY acrylic? That's why you're getting bumpy nails. Either do dip at home or get acrylic, they're both acrylic.
Whether you’re dipping or whether they’re putting it on the acrylic is when you mix the powder and the liquid together both of these will start to harden as soon as they’re put on so you’ve amount of time to work with them. Gel is completely different gel. You work for five hours and it will not change its consistency until it’s putting in the light acrylic doesn’t necessarily need the light. It just cures it faster. Personally, I would say the way that the lady did it for you is probably gonna turn out way better than dipping it because you can’t control the amount of product that gets on your hand from a dip whereas you can when you mould it properly.
Yall just let people do anything to you and don’t even know what you’re getting. Lol dip is also ACRYLIC. Powder= acrylics and Gel= Gel. 😂 a gel can never be a solid because it’s gel. 😂
Any reasom you specifically asked for dip in the first place? Why dont just ask to get your nails done pretty? If you insist on dip, you get the first result.
So there are some dips that you can use both the dip way and the same method you’d use for old school acrylic. A guy I follow on tt does that a lot and I’m not sure how he decides when and where to do which method
Like 8 years ago when dip really got popular I was obsessed. I remember asking my nail tech to do an ombre with dip, she was like... we can do acrylic for ombre, and I was like NO I WANT DIP ACRYLIC IS HARMFUL TO NAILS. I really had this lady sit there for like 2 hours dusting the ombre on. She probably thought I was such a moron because dip IS acrylic. I tipped her well. Thinking back on it she could have just said "ok we can do dip but its faster to apply the ombre with this liquid and this brush" and I wouldve been like "oh ok :)" I dont live in that city anymore but now as a part time nail tech myself I wish I could go back and apologize to her lol.
