The ONE solution that never gets mentioned in any contact video... The contact adheres to the surface that has most moisture. So use EYE DROPS in your eyes to make them wet first and make sure your finger is dry as possible. Contacts are like moisture magnets. Boom.
@@louisanderson000 Also, try this method which worked for me in tandem with the eye drops. I've never used the tip of my finger since. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sabAU4_Obic.html
I’ve been wearing contacts for a few years and it still amazes me how there’s different ways people put them in and take them out. But I do think it’s funny how people who don’t wear contacts freak out when they see me putting mine in and taking them out.
Serenity -3- it gets easier! Trust me! Lol it took me 35 minutes to put one in the first time. Plus the more you put them in, you find ways the works best for you. You got this, good luck!
@@serenity-3-267 It took me an hour and a cigerette break to put in one..years ago! Aint done it since!😳 i.e...im the freak out when my daughter does it!
I'm overjoyed to hear that the tutorial was helpful for you, especially as a cosplayer! 🌟 Putting in contact lenses can indeed take some practice, and I'm thrilled to know that this tutorial made a positive impact on your experience. If you ever have more questions or need further tips, feel free to reach out. Wishing you incredible cosplay adventures with those lenses! 👁✨ 🚀😊
Side note: when I started wearing contacts I couldn’t use my dominate hand to put them in and take them out so I use my non dominant hand and its soooo much easier if anyone is struggling!!!
Shyanne Lassen I switch hands depending which eye I’m putting the contact in. For example, when I put my left eye contact, I use my right hand (dominant hand) to lift the lid and my left hand (non dominant hand) to put it in. Soo that could help too
Fiona Frills, your "How to Put in Color Contacts Fast & Easy" tutorial is pure magic! 🌈✨ Putting in 7 colors? Now that's a skill! Your fast and easy tips make it look like a breeze. Thanks for bringing the fun to color contacts, Fiona! Can't wait to try it myself! 🎥👀🌟💖
OMG thank you so much! The lower eyelid thing was a game changer for me. I went to trying for 45 min and CRYING (both from aggrevating my eyes and just sheer desperation) to just getting them in THE FIRST TRY. OMG THANK YOU!
GURLLL I FINALLY DID ITT!!!!! I've tried to put in my contact for like 3 days (it's not even bold crazy contact) but i always failed and i just did it while watching your video. IM SO HAPPY Thank you so much!!!!
Thanks! I watched this a couple times before making my first attempt. It took a couple tries before I got them to stay in my eyes, but taking them out was easy, and that's the part I was initially worried about.
Thank you! You helped me so much with these colored contacts to be honest I was very scared of putting the contact lenses but since I watched this I have always been so happy to put in my contacts without being scared
That's awesome to hear! 🌈 Your experience is really reassuring, and it's so cool that the tutorial made a positive impact on your confidence with colored contacts. It's all about those little victories, right? If you have any tips or tricks that worked for you, feel free to share. Here's to many more fearless and happy moments with your lenses! 👀💪
I wear colored contacts quote a bit. My personal favorite online stores (also the only ones I trust) are pinky paradise and uniqso. Make sure when you're ordering contacts to put in the correct power that has been prescribed to you by a doctor! Your eyesight is important and you can damage your eye if you have the wrong power! Also, it's highly recommended to leave the new contacts in contact solution for more comfortability.
i am new to color contacts, and i was hesitant at first with wearing it, but the first time that i tried it, I completely fell in love with them. They were super comfertable and i wore it the whole day without feeling uncomfortable, it is true you won't see much of your sides but it is super nice. I got mine from deabak , a BTS lense and i love it... i will be wearing it every time i go out
After searching through videos to help first time contact wearers, yours was the only one that was easy to follow and clear on instructions, open the eye, place one edge under the lower lid then move into place, thank you
Omg I just ordered 2 kinds of color contacts and this is my first time. And you are the first whom I watch!!!! And I looove the way you explained everything .God I'm not scared anymore, lol you're so chill . I'mma watch you again when they'll arrive! And thanks giiiirl I needed all of this information! New subscriber ❤️
Your video is so educational. I'm going to a rock party. My eye contacts were for me dressing up as Marilyn Manson. Without the one contact in my eye, I didn't see myself as Marilyn Manson. But now with the contract I look awesome. Thank you for this video. I wouldn't have found the easiest way without your help.
Putting contacts in and out was so nerve-wracking for me too!!! Great vid! Love the crazy blue ones at 8 minutes in 😍 I just tried some cheap colored contact lenses for the first time ever and made a video about it on my channel 😝
Absolutely loved that part too! The blue ones at 8 minutes were stunning. 😍 I totally get the nerve-wracking part-I was the same way when I started with contacts. Checked out your video on cheap colored contacts, and it was a blast! 😝 Can't wait to see more of your content! 💙✨ 🌈👀
I literally got contacts from color CL for $15 and they’re comfortable and look real You don’t have to waste that much money for a decent pair of colored contacts.
Sigh. I'm really lucky to have found ur video. I love how u give us tips on what to do and what not to do. It's really helped me put in my colored contacts for the first time. Thank u so very much!
Thank you so much for this video! It’s my first time wearing contacts and it really helped me out. I had it on repeat while struggling to get them in but I got it! So again thank you so much.
not gonna lie this helped me so much because it's my second-day having contact lenses and the way you put them in and take them out is so much easier for me like, thank you so much.
joanne hey ! I struggled putting in contacts for the longest time but it’s really easy if you do it right :) I’d say the biggest thing is holding your lashes open as close to the eyelid as possible because if you can hold your eyelids open it’s physically impossible for you to blink !i hope this helps
joanne pull your lashes back! Literally take one hand and pull your bottom lid down and then take your other hand a pull you lashes back. (The hand that is holding your bottom lid should have the contact in one of the fingers) if that makes sense good luck and you will get used to it overtime
i just put in blue contacts and it was sooo hard to get in. it kept either folding or just not sticking or anything. So it amazes me at you put in the cat eye so easily ....
When you touch your eye a lot you kinda get used to it, i can touch the white of my eye no problem, still not the pupils, that freaks me out but it's not as scary after a few times.
@@LadyLucyla Maybe you could put your contact on the white part of your eye, then hold the contact in place and move your eye to it. I'm very bad at explaining sorry TwT
That was a really good down to Earth tutorial...it was basically a pep talk that made me feel it was not a big issue doing this for the first time. Something you mentioned that I have not come across yet was the slight impinging colour seen whilst wearing the lenses...I wouldn't have been expecting that first time and maybe freaked out XD
Thank you so so much for making this video it was so so help because my mom got me color contacts and it was so hard to put them in my eye until i saw your video and i finally got them in my eye and it was amazing and thank you so so so much for making this video it was so so helpful thank you
I was wearing mine for up to 10 hours, it was definitely the maximum of wearing them. It felt so freeing when I put it out of my eye. And my eye ball was light red, so please to all of you out there. Don't let them in for too long, it really doesn't feel good. After a while it's gonna start itching and it isn't good for your eye 💩
@@FionaFrills it ended up being a lot easier than I thought it would I just used the technique that you showed in the vid and since I'm not scared of touching my eye it was ez pz
you don't want to apply much pressure or it will invert the contact. Make sure that you more or less put it up to your eye like you are going to touch your eye but the part that makes contact first should be the edges of the contact otherwise you will invert it and it will likely fold on you. Don't be afraid to retry over and over again and don't let yourself get intimidated. Just make sure that you put contact solution on it every 10 tries or so to make sure it does not get dry. If it gets dry you will notice when they finally go in it will feel a little scratchy around the edges for a while and that is super annoying. Putting solution in the contact before putting it in is key for sure. Also big tip is to make sure that you pull back your eye lashes (for me the top is tricky since my eyes are deep into my skull.). also a good idea to wash your face since when pulling back your eye lids it is hard when skin is oily (not to mention with oil is salty from your skin which eye no likey).
I watched so many video on how to take hard contacts out, since it was my first time wearing hard once instead ob soft ones and i finally found one that worked out even on the first try
Okay, so I have a lot of anxiety about this. I really want to wear color contacts so that I can cosplay, but I’m afraid of it hurting and or getting stuck. Can anyone with experience walk me through how it feels whilst putting them in, wearing them, and taking them out? I would highly appreciate it.
@Dl. Fânutz This was so helpful! I am so very thankful that you did this. I will be subscribing to you, just to make sure I remember the person who helped remove my anxiety! Have a great day, you did more for me and others than you know. ✨❤️💙✨
