Any deal with China is a debt trap. Security concerns are serious when signing a deal with China. See what happened to Srilanka and what is happening to Pakistan.
China for sure, as it has lots more experience, as it also participates on the belt and road initiative, also this initiative makes more local people to work, not the Chinese, only the engineers will go, also by controlling this China may have the ability to nock India out, as or at least claim more territory, as China could possibly block the access of water to India. So yea, China will send more money and they will also demonstrate more skill.
In fact, China looks down on India. It's just that India has been adding drama to itself: creating border disputes in various ways to win the favor of white people. That's all. "You must collect full payment first when doing business with Indians" is a law known to everyone in the world. Neither Indians nor the Indian government can be trusted. Inconsistency is the nature of Indians and the Indian government. The entire India, from people to the government, has no credibility. Don't believe it? Then you will know when you do business with Indians. Or you go to India to invest and open a factory, and when you make money, the Indian government will find a way to swallow up all the assets of your company. Aren't there enough examples? When doing business with Indians, they will ask you for a unit price of 300,000, and then lie that they want you to produce 5-30 samples as samples, or even ask you to give samples for free. In fact, Indians only want those 30 samples, and you don't have an order of 100,000 at all. This is the perfidious Indian. So the countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia all know the law "Indian customers must collect full payment!" There are too many examples of the Indian government's perfidy, you can check it out.The poor business environment and bad credit have made India a swamp for global investors.
No need to compete with China since India haven’t get any international big project through out so many years than him try it out again. Hopefully India project team don’t fail Bangladesh and also international image 😅 God bless u 😂
Я думаю что многое из того о чем сейчас говорится, так и не будет воплощено. Например 575 метровый небоскреб там никому не нужен. Он не окупится. Просто построят новый микрорайон
You know what happens when you don’t pay China for doing works in your territory, right???? It becomes theirs and won’t let go of it. Remember that airport somewhere in Africa? Or that ship port in Sri Lanka? They’re even taking what’s not theirs like territorial waters in the island chain close to japan, taiwan, Philippines, vietnam etc.
What can India offer, cow dung infrastructure? China built bridge, road and dam is cup of tea, India built a bridge collapse twice a year. Indian still sleep in their fake media news
I am Indian and I think it is a mistake for Bangladesh to outsource this. Infrastructure projects are how a country puts its people to work. Indian needs to convince them to handle it themselves with hired expertise from India. Trying to make money out of a smaller country like Bangladesh should not be Indias goal. If it really wants to outsource it, only then it should be India as a no brainer.

Well, dear, this new city is going to be built next to the previous capital, which means they will be connected. This means that a new capital will be created from those two, isn't it?
Narendra Modi since 2014 when he came to power for first time, has been taking india 🇮🇳 to newer heights every passing day ! India 🇮🇳 today the fastest economy in World 🌎 expected to become 3rd largest economy by 2027 !
Air travel in India is lousy at best with broken food trays, random seat change without concern for the passenger who is at the recieving end. It is the service that are frustrating the airports are so, so.
Why do we call these "futuristic"? It is 1950s science fiction urbanise-for-urbanisation-sake idea. Growth for growth sake is an idea for the past. Growth of population and urban land are creating problems. Economic growth is unsustainable and is a moribund concept for the 20th century. Regenerate the soil, forests, create sustainable building and growing: that is actually ambitious. There is nothing ambitious or admirable at spending insane amounts of money to make more concrete stuff and selling more stuff and having central dictatorial powers, private or national.
You raise a valid point about the importance of sustainability and environmental regeneration. It’s true that unchecked urbanization and growth can lead to significant ecological and social challenges. However, it’s worth noting that many modern development projects, including Uzbekistan’s new capital project, are incorporating sustainable practices and green technologies. For instance, Uzbekistan is actively investing in renewable energy sources, such as a 250-megawatt solar photovoltaic plant with a 63-MW battery energy storage system1. This project is expected to provide clean electricity to approximately 75,000 households and reduce over 327,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually1. Additionally, the country has plans to implement $78.6 billion in investment projects focused on infrastructure and green energy2, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable economic growth. The concept of growth has evolved from mere expansion to include sustainable development. This includes regenerating soil, preserving forests, and building sustainable communities. The aim is not just to create more ‘concrete stuff’ but to foster a balance between development and the environment. It’s also important to recognize that economic growth and environmental sustainability are not mutually exclusive. With the right policies and technologies, it’s possible to achieve both. The new capital of Uzbekistan represents an opportunity to showcase how modern urban development can be both ambitious and sustainable, aligning with the 21st-century vision of growth that benefits both people and the planet. what do you think?
