I remember this being my favourite Diablo of them all amd favourite Lamborghini of all time. That purple colour is gorgeous, just like a silver Jaguar XJ220 and a red Ferrari F40.
I have known Jonathan for some 15yrs now (iam on the other side of the pond in Aussie) and he has a lifetime passion dedicated to these iconic pre-merger AMG Mercedes which is a story in its own. This fine example widebody in Malachite Green paint is simply stunning. (needs the correct AMG steering wheel though) Other standout colours for WB version SEC coupes is - 501 Orient Red / 907 Midnight Blue / 877 Petrol Blue (in lieu of the more common 040 black & 199 Pearl black or Silver or Arctic White) Fun Fact - Robert Plant (Led Zep) owned a gen2 Malachite Green SEC coupe for 18yrs before selling it to his local Dealer for GBP 9k. He was the 2nd owner and loved the coupe but was always touring so he sold it. He should have kept it that is for sure.
@GarrisonHundt Interesting to make the statement that it’s an awful car to own….then ask what it’s like to own. They are wonderful cars, and a good one is not particularly difficult to manage, as far as exotic cars are concerned.
I think purple is the most 90s color on a Lamborghini. I don’t know what it is, but for example: Near where I live there is someone who has a purple Hurucan that has a purple color, and I always thought that purple only looked good on Diablos and that will be the only good color
The original car was quite nice but it just got uglier by the year. The rear wing on this one and the lines into the body how it attaches looks really ugly to me. The original cars from Italy never had wings and they look very nice without them.
For a moment I thought this was filmed near me (the opening, there’s a shot that looks exactly like North St in Greenwich CT) but then I noticed the railing which is different (I know, cool story bro ha). -Great to find your channel, I know you guys via Doug D. Happily subbed 😎
