Welcome to Life Insurance Today, a channel dedicated to sharing information and training that makes the industry better for both clients and agents. We are in a blue ocean environment and it is time to stop acting like there is a scarcity of clients, premiums, or products in our industry. A rising tide raises all ships and with the growth in life insurance sales over the past few years every agent should be sharing in that growth no matter who you are contracted with. This channel is dedicated to providing you with information to help you do just that.
At the Pritchett Agency, we don't create your legacy, we help make it better. We strive to help our clients, agents, and staff alike create the greatest legacy for themselves and for their families.
That's very true! Many vendors are not transparent about their sourcing, which is why partnering with the right lead vendor is so crucial. I'm thankful to work with an IMO like Symmetry that provides top quality leads.
I just started with the Symmetry Financial Group a few weeks ago and this is very helpful because I've been calling a lot of B5 leads and I've been trying to figure out the best way to get more warmer leads without burning through a lot of money purchasing colder leads.
What has worked for me is being partners with my lead source, which gives me greater certainty that the leads are honest. Outside of that, you just have to go through the trial and error. Wishing you success in your journey!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us being new agents. We appreciate your support towards our new journey😊 THE G.A.O.T, my MJ 😊 SFG🎉
You do not have to purchase leads from Symmetry though I recommend it to get qualified clients who are looking for the product we have. You can always bring or find your own clients, it will cost you something either way.
This video is one of those videos that you watch, and when the year is over someone asks you what was that pivotal moment that helped you set records for the year. I can direct them to this video that I watch 6 times straight on April 15, 2024. The thought never cross my mind to just go cold turkey and put all my efforts into getting to that point where me and my family never have to worry about anything. Thank you for putting this video out there to the world!
That agency-invested leads part makes a lot of sense and I imagine there's a bit of a discount. A bit off-topic but how do you feel about the spam/scam caller ID problem. My research shows that triple dialing and NOT leaving a message is a great way to be IDed as spam/scam and in effect, burning your leads be they a dollar or 60 dollars. What are your thoughts about these common industry practices in an age of SCAM/SPAM ID AND BLOCKING? Anyone?
Hey Edward my name is Terrance I’m apart of the Kimbrells agency. We met at the boot camp in Atlanta. Is there ANY way I can get these zoom training sessions?
Is this statement on the Symmetry website true? "When you join us at Symmetry, the book of business that you build is yours from day one. As you’re an independent insurance agent, the carriers are the ones who pay you for the policies you sell with them. If you retire or decide to pursue a different career, you will continue to receive the vested renewals on policies you sold that remain in force."
I joined Edwards team back in jan 2018 and it has been the best decision of my life. This video makes me so much gratitude of what the company's core values and growth trainings have change my.life. Looking forward to journey to 130. Thank you Edward for the video
I appreciate the interview. I understand having belief, commitment, sacrifice, etc. However, I wish you delved into more numbers and specifics such as how many calls he did per day, what his daily schedule was like, what types of policies he wrote, etc. I want to know what I can specifically duplicate or aim for so that I can better gauge my process and production. Thanks.
@aquariusschoolforkids8717 Thank you. I get where your comment comes from and I wish it were that simple. If you wanted to swim like Michael Phelps I could give you the prescription of what he ate, every exercise that he did over for a year, and what his daily schedule looked like and the vast majority of people, like 99.99% of them, would be like wow that is a lot, I could never do that. Ike's schedule at the end of the year did not look like his schedule at the beginning of the year. It's important to remember that agents will find success through different products, dials per day, and schedules if the commitment to the goal they are going to achieve is rock solid. This is the one common thread that successful agents have, not 350 dials per day, IULs or Whole Life, or waking up at 4:30 am versus 7:30 am. I can line up 10 top producers and I will show you 10 ways to do it, but one level of belief and commitment. Happy to look at what you are doing and see if your activity shows the level of commitment it takes to hit these levels.
@@InsurancewithEdward I totally hear you. Everyone's specific approach will be different, and rarely can two people achieve the same results, even if they use the exact same approach and put in the exact same effort/time. AND it would be nice to hear some more details. At one point in the video Muonelo refers to a particular meeting he pitched to you, and which you attended with him, and this sounded like part of a key strategy. I would have loved to hear about this and other strategies he implemented, including how he "staffed up," in order to effectively increase his production as an agent. For us beginners this type of information would be incredibly helpful. Thank you for putting out great inspirational content. Cheers!
Well said! Unfortunately not everyone has family or friends who want to buy from them, but it can be a great opportunity to practice talking about your work and in some cases even how to handle rejection. Good quality leads and referrals can make all the difference. Best wishes in your career!
Thanks for the great information! I’m a newly licensed agent with symmetry and looking forward to this new career. Just to clarify, are you advising one of the best ways to stand out and provide exceptional customer service is to find out their needs, wants, etc and really take the time to know and understand your client?
I know it seems revolutionary. If you actually do that with thoughtful questions asked during real conversation you will actually be an agent that adds value to their clients' lives.
