I know it was 13 years ago - but nevertheless - thanks for a great presentation of this magic little tool! Taking the lid apart and cleaning it is so easy when you know how - and now I know. Someone recently gave me one they'd had for ages but had never used and I love it - so many uses and so well made. For anyone who interested: as an experiment, I threw some thickened cream (needs to be full fat to turn into butter apparently), tiny touch of salt and a teency pin drop of yellow food colouring and used Quick Chef as a butter churn! It worked so well - much quicker than I thought - and best of all - no noisy blender going full tilt for 3 mins. It tasted just like butter from the supermarket so I made another little batch and threw in some crushed garlic and chopped parsley - voila - yummy garlic butter right there. So easy and heaps cheaper than buying it. Thanks :)

really nice idea....i just wish they would make one that makes at least 24 at the time...i have one that makes 12 at once and it is half the size of this tupperware one....so it is possible to make one for 48, it just would be double the size of your tupperware one and the ones i make with my plate are really big....
