This channel is about all things forestry and wildlife habitat, mostly whitetail deer habitat improvement. If you are interested in adding value to your land and making a better place to hunt, you can find some good free advice here. I am a masters level Forester trained at Penn State University, as SAF certified professional Forester AND a licensed Realtor in the State of Pa. As a Forestry and Wildlife Habitat Consultant in PA, I have worked on hundreds of properties throughout the Eastern U.S. Much of my work centers around timber management and food plot installations to improve carrying capacity of hunting properties.

You mention in this video about investment and tax strategies for high income earners. Have you produced that video yet? Could you post a link to that video if so? Thanks again
I think what I was getting at was that a family could build generational/legacy wealth using 1031 exchages to create a tax frèe investment strategy. Let me know if you want more on this
@@ChilcoteForestryServices Thank you. I'm thinking about selling some of my trees. I can appreciate that there is a lot of things to consider; where are they, how many, how far is the mill?
Lambs quarter is super bad in my plot . Also have something that looks kinda like milkweed buy I don't think it actually is ? It's not super bad but the Lambs quarter is Horrible. It chokes out everything.
Here in Southwest Missouri- I'm prepping some ground for a plot. Moving forward, I'm thinking I'll plant BWheat mid-June, then mow & rake it mid-August. At that point, my plan is to broadcast and aerate oats, ladino clover, and cereal rye into what I'm hoping becomes a real "honey-hole". I would appreciate your thoughts regarding my plan!!!
Sounds good but i usually dont put in a monoculture. You could add a legume and brassica (collards)as well as cowpeas & sunflowers. You can fit more biomass and mine more nutrients that way. If deer eat it all, just plant a new seeding for fall (cool season plants)
@@ChilcoteForestryServices Corn is a lot of work. Sprayed the fields twice now and the damn grass keeps on growing. Worse yet, the damn deer are eating all the corn as it grows. Idiots!!
This was interesting because the peas came from the previous cover crop that had them in it. They just decided to show up. The nutrients from the cover crop supported the corn well. Peas can be planted with corn at the same time and i would like to experiment with that
It knows there's mice and shakes the tail to bait it's prey into thinking it's a worm to eat. My 6ft boa constrictor does the same thing while she's "hunting" for prey inside her enclosure. Wiggles the colorful tail tip like a worm which in the wild would attract a bird in a tree.
@@jeffstorey9147 Im not entirely disagreeing with you but it depends on the species of snake. When I lived in Arizona it was usually bad news for the mice and humans if a snake got in the house considering most snakes there were venomous. A lot of people are also deathly afraid of snakes so while a lot of them aren't venomous and maybe doing good they may also scare people to act irrationally.
With all this rain you should uave grat germination and quick. And once the sun comes out it should fly out of the ground. Cant wait to see a follow up video. Another great job by Chilcote Forestry
Filmco is the best in my opinion. 6 nozzles and fits great on my atv and utv only problem in 6 years is I wrecked going way 2 fast going to my plot and put a hole in the bottom but just used my plastic welder and welded it up
Just found a grape vine and wanted to cut it because I thought it's a poison ivy. :) Thank you to show the vine close. Now will look how the poison ivy vine shall look like.
