Hey Babes, My name is Daiquan. My channel consists of beauty, fashion, lifestyle, travel, home, and week in my life vlogs as well as inspirational videos!
First of all, so happy to hear your Mother is on the mend. Prayers for her quick recovery! I totally understand the woes with diabetes because my Mom is a diabetic as well. 🙏🏽❤️ Now, this “assistant”… People are weird. WEIRD. If she had a problem with it, be an adult and say something! I sure wish I had seen this job offer because I would’ve been THE ONE for you! However, no love lost. Maybe the other candidate will reach back out. If not, open the application back up! Hopefully I don’t miss it this time. Lol, as always it’s nice to see you!
Sending you prayers and wishing a speedy recovery for your mom! For Zane, has the vet suggested allergy meds for your dog? My pup has allergies too and I am able to give her a 1/4 of an allergy pill (like Zyrtec) twice a day.
Omg please check your mother’s heart as well! My dad had congestive heart failure and blood circulation is a big symptom. He constantly had wounds on his lower extremities.
Being a caregiver is very hard and I understand your plight. However, I recommend you asking family to chip in and/or coming together to find your mom in-home companion care or an aide. That will really assist you with not being tied up 24/7 with her care.
So proud of you Daiquan to be in a position to hire an assistant. If you can help it DON'T hire an assistant cause I sense you like me, very private and I have a hard time trusting people NDA or not. Try to adjust things to where you can handle it all by yourself or your team. Best of luck huns!..your hair style is pretty and nails. what brand hair you use for hair extension please?
Praying for you and your family. I’m glad your mom is doing better. Great job continuing to push through knowing the load you carry! Yes, therapy is so important!! I always enjoy your vlogs.
I'm also in my thirties and going through the same thing with my parents. I'm struggling with living my life and also being there for them. It's very overwhelming! Love your video, I'm glad your mom is home and recovering ❤❤
Hey sis I’m glad your mom is recovering! I, too, believe she was neglected and delayed in getting medical attention she needed. Girl, I was so heartbroken hearing your assistant story. What I hate most is that she wasted your time and fumbled your trust! Perhaps using an agency of some sort will help you next time. I’ve missed hearing you talk about your doggie! Your apartment looks so relaxing and chic! Thanks for sharing. Yes, I submitted a Sephora testimonial!❤
Your Mom will understand, nobody want people doing anything for them if they don't want to be there, we can feel it. Don't feel guilty she will love you regardless that's what Mom's do
I understand not wanting to be the caretaker. It's extremely difficult. I'm 41 years old. When I was 26 I gave birthday to twins by C-section. Two or three months later my family and I found out my grandma (my mother's mom) had uterine cancer. The doctors gave her a hysterectomy. You know who they had take care of my grandma? Me!! Now mind you my grandma have 5 children and 11 grandchildren including me. I had to care for my grandma all while being a first time mom with twins. I love my grandma more than words can express. But that's doesn't change the fact that my family should have helped and they did not. My family did not call to make sure I was good taking care of their mom while taking care of two newborn babies. Life can definitely throw hands at you at time.
You are absolutely correct they did delay care. They possibly did a angiogram on her leg. Your mom being a Diabetic has a higher risk of infection especially to the feet. It’s important to wear diabetic socks and shoes to prevent wounds on the feet. Check for cuts on the legs and feet can she can get an infection. You have to live your life, and there is nothing wrong with that. Prayers for your mom! Keep up the good work
So sorry about your mom😢I have diabetes too type 2 ❤❤❤ glad ur mom is doing better with her healing my mom had 2 strokes this year I do worry about her but my brother and sister are taking care of her thank god. Yes gurl take care of yourself too so therapy is a great for you❤ love the video.
I been doing some form of this for over 15 years now for my mom and not only child. Caregiving life is a real sacrifice especially when it comes around in the early years of your life. If you were working in an office your time for her would be limited. You need to find out what services are available by the state and make sure your mom does everything that her body is capable to. Get her primary Dr. or whoever does it for your state get your mom meal on wheels, so she has option to grab from freezer to microwave. There are also share a ride option to get her to the doctor if she not driving. Drug stores can mail prescriptions. pay er bills on-line and set up er medical accounts on line so you can keep track of dates and appointments and results of testing. I hate that happen with the job new hire and yes she should have let you know when she realized that she could not take the job because that happens (If she has children, or another job, etc.) On the kitchen counter the vase floral is too high and need to be taken off the tray (sit beside it) it all up in the ceiling light. Nice take on Autumn decor added to areas. Store already got Christmas stuff out. LOL!
So glad to hear your mom is doing better & glad to see u back vlogging when u can ❤ I completely understand what you meant with being an only child & still wanting to be there but not as the “primary” person… it’s a very relatable & difficult thing to navigate, but those of us who get it are processing the healthy & best decisions either way. ❤ Side note- how r u going to mention our nephew & not give him some camera time? lol.. We miss him but understand he’s been a little under the weather 💙 🐕
I agree exactly what you're saying I took care of my grandmother. And after that I said I was done my mom is older she's 62. And she will have a home health aide of course I'm still going to go visit her bring her lunch and stuff but I would not be her soul caretaker. That is a lot to put on a person
Definitely will keep you in my prayers! Unfortunately my father went through the exact thing and his toes had to be amputated😢 we went through so much with his health so this is so understandable…also, sooo happy to see you back on here🫶🏾
Hey Love, Thank you so much for watching and for your prayers! It breaks my heart to see our loved ones face such difficult health challenges & it's even harder knowing how the medical system fails us every day. I’m keeping you in my prayers as well. Thanks again for your support! 🥰
That’s crazy! I’m sorry you went through that. Why on earth would someone just ghost like that? I guess you dodged a bullet since there was clearly something wrong with that person 😅

Praying for you , mom and the family. Being a caregiver is a lot on anyone. It isn't for the faint in heart. Glad that therapy is helping you . I'm also thinking about finding one. If you can, can you share more details on the therapy or how you found the one that you are talking to.
Next time go through a professional staffing agency. Those ppl are fans so of course they’re not going to take it seriously. I’m so happy to see you and I hope your mom has a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
