I'm a hard working guy who enjoys riding all types of motorcycles. I've even been known to buy and sell a few. I live in the Ozarks, in southern Missouri, and I ride around 17,000 miles each summer. I tell people I don't go far, I go often.. I worship GOD, Love my family and tolerate my friends lol. And I ride as often as I can.
Hi Gene or is it Jean? Just seen your great vid here in UK in July 2024,I bought my first Tiger which is a 955i (2001)green in February this year but I'm now looking at upgrading to a 1050,maybe a 2007 model.Loved your video and I also like the colour of your bike but it's fairly rare here in that yellow/gold.Cheers
@GiantmanUK It is Gene. Thanks for watching. One of the most comfortable bikes I've been on. I do the color. And yeah, I've not seen alot this color. Good luck on your upgrade..
How tall are you and at which position you have adjusted the seat? Thanks for sharing this video. Enjoyed. Drop by when have time, you may like my content. Cheers.
@@OzarkHillsRider I'm STL based, so it's a tidbit longer for me haha. One of my hobbies is photographing and documenting small towns that have bare coverage (such as Winona). I do this county-by-county, and Shannon County is next on the list. Really excited to check out all the springs...especially Alley Spring over near Eminence.
@GenerallyGoodMusic Shannon County is beautiful. Alley Springs is amazing. And maybe you will see Shannon County Wild Horses. Klepzig Mill is just a few miles east of rocky falls. It's a must to check out place.
@@OzarkHillsRider So far, my trip includes: * Winona (Rocky Falls/Klepzig Mill) * Owls Bend (Blue Spring) * Birch Tree (just for photos) * Eminence (photos and Two Rivers Canoe down the Current River) * Alley Springs (spring/mill) * Round Spring (cave, spring, and Echo Bluff) * Shannondale (Devil's Well) * Akers (2 car ferry if in service, Welch Springs) If you have any other 'must-sees', let me know!
I was living in Conway at that time! I hunted up there with a guy named Craig Fox Huber. He was a big game hunter, and part of the Faulkner County Emergency Squad, of which we were both a part! Look Craig up! He was a really good man, and a veteran of the Viet Nam War.
Take highway 7 down the mountain to Jasper Arkansas that's how I get there. Check out Kyle's landing. But up on the mountain here there is so much to do to explore just never ending and serene.
2000 road king stolen from hidden beaches blythe ca... beware of the meth heads 4yrs and counting things taken golf-carts ,generators, carburators off boats ,cars and rent keeps going up still no security just a meth head pot heads working the grounds!!!!!!!!call blythe,ca police
I had one of these. Bought from new, With Vance & Hines. Best bike ever. Wore out two sets of pegs, Sounds great, Dragged off Harleys and sports bikes, from Australia, Gave it a mini skirt on rear too. Looked sexy! Raise the rear plate,
Well, this is not a stock V-Max. The front forks and tail piece are from a 2004 Yamaha R-6. Congratulations on your purchase. The V-Max is a beast of a bike..
Nice review, I've just seen one for sale at a local Kawasaki dealer same year , color 12,000 miles he wants 4995. I might go check it out. Wow I've owned 40 bikes I thought that was a lot! You got me beat. Well thanks and ride safe.
Man yeah. Take it for a test ride. I think you will be impressed. I really like this color. I'm at 196 bikes now. I love to ride. You be safe also and thanks for watching.
At 650 lbs they don't like off road. I have only done a few kilometers on gravel with mine. I hit 140 mph on my first gen last summer. It was still pulling Have fun , great power through all its bands you will find
Very cool. My dad, grandfather and great grandfather were all born in Kelly Hallow. My Grandfather helped build the old church in my thumbnail picture.
They had a mill too. It was burnt down during the civil war but the family rebuilt it. They say part of still stands by the river. Eleven Point River I believe was the name of it
Never owned the awarrior ,but I've owned 3 Yamaha MT01 which is the same engine but in a sports frame with better suspension and I got to be honest I absolutely love them .
@@OzarkHillsRider I traded my glowing for it. It was not running. I had to put a new flywheel key in it and starter clutch. She runs great now. Fast bike.
@kevinrose7495 Oh yeah. I took that Gold Wing for a ride last week. Except for my long legs being a little cramped, I liked the way it went down the road.
@@OzarkHillsRider ok. You know who I got it from? I put many many miles on that wing. But vmaxes have been in my blood sense 98 when my brother got his new.
Hi, Gene! I notice their aren't any videos newer than 3 months ago. Anything new coming out we can look forward to? I've watched all of yours twice at least and really like how you show us the sights! Let me know? Thanks! CHUCK
Thank you Chuck, that means the world to me. Life got busy with a job change, a move and a break up with my girl. I will be posting one Thursday evening. A review of my 2019 Honda CBR300R. Then the two after that are very cool locations in the Ozarks. Oh yeah, I bought me a Harley Davidson V-Rod Night Rod I'm starting to record one of it. I'm back in the game. Time to make more videos 😀
Thanks, Gene! Sure appreciate your reply. I was pretty sure something was distracting you out there like life stuff. Good to hear though that you didn't give up and have more ideas and episodes coming up for us hungry Ozark Hills Rider fanatics. I will be moving back to Ark soon, so it's been very soothing to view all that beautiful countryside once again!.......Chuck
