Finally got a daytime storm to shoot today and nothing but frustration. The Pluto triggered the camera ok but no lightning in the images. This happened multiple times, I am kind of convinced that the trigger just not fast enough. Had everything set up ok, Manual Focus, Manual Exposure to infinity, 1/15 exposure, 100 ISO and F28 (kind of bright outside)
Nice photos and instructions, do you ever photo stack or just make single shots and use the lens depth of field to give it an artistic feel vs an all parts in focus more technical feel. I have a Canon 5d mark IV and a Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 macro 1:1 , just need to build a light box.
You're spouting dangerous nonsense about rubber tyres and not touching metal in the car. The reason the inside of the car is safe is because it's a faraday cage your tyres aren't going to do anything with meg-volts of electricity. Doesn't matter whether you touch the inside of the car or not. Charge cannot exist on the inside of a conductive object.
Thank you so much for this video. I saw the Aurora Australis in South America many years ago. I definitely will like to see the Aurora Borealis in a near future and this time take some shots. Your pictures are beautiful. Thank you so much for the valuable information. 👍
Hi Jil , I'm waiting for my pluto trigger i ordered to turn up. hope it dosnt take to long to arive to the gong. Waching your videos and how you explain it is realy helpfull cheers
So is the shutter release automatic? I am confused as to wheather I push the shutter button on the camera or pluto or phone! I am all hooked up and feel pretty good about the menus... Just not sure if the pluto has a sensor that sets off the shutter release automatically? Clearly a rookie here.
I had to push the back button to get to the tap to take a photo but I am so happy to watch and follow your video! Still a little timid but gonna keep it and give it my best shot. LOL. Thanks for your deliberate and easy to understand directions. I see it's been awhile but hope that you get a notification to know that you helped another rookie! Thanks again!
How do we wake up the "mainstream", they are so asleep on so many issues. This si the why for so much of all since the frist davos meeting in 1971 and the last 3 years in particvular
Hi Gill, as a viewer I could hear the camera go off at each distance. I imagine you could not once you were further away. Does that mean that the phone tells you that the photo was actually taken?
@@gillfry1669 Thank you for the fast response. Interested in the lightning and HDR modes. What I really want is...which is the better unit for ease of use Miops or Pluto.
The lightning mode I can only demonstrate when I have a storm. I am keen to see that too as that is the reason I bought the Pluto in the first place. I will look into the HDR for you.
