I have Tacoma 09 . I usually pay the dealer to do the Express oil change. They're use 5W-30 Conventional oil Toyo. Now the dealer changed, to do the oil change I have to make an appointment so I have to DIM cost only $30. Dealer oil change is $76
Just a quick pointer, I had a brand new 2005 tacoma loved it ran it to about 120k and the tranny started slipping. Yeah "sealed" tranny doesn't mean don't change the fluid but anyway I just about always just put it in drive and that was it hmmmm. So bought a brand new 2015 tacoma and changed the fluid at about 75k and added lucas tranny anti slip but with this tacoma I run through the whole automatic tranny a lot and stay in 4 on the local streets as much as possible because the "overdrive" is what was slipping on my 2005 tacoma.
I appreciate the instruction. I've had a 2012 Tacoma for a couple years now and I've never used the 4-wheel drive functions yet, but I'm moving to the mountains in a couple days and I thought I better learn how to use these. I now feel much more comfortable knowing how these work at a basic level. Thank you.
Love my 2015 taco. TRD SPORT. Mileage should be better at 18 city but hey where do i have to go. I am the original owner, retired and it just turned 40,000 miles. Maintenance is so easy on the 4.0. Just like my 4th gen 4runner. I love the bare bones equipment on the Taco. Someone offered me 30k for it the other day. No sale. Look how they have ruined the Tundras and now the tacos with those sh*t 4 cylinder turbo junk. And now the 4runner has met the same fate for 2025.
Oh yeah the entire hood was redone, it’s hard to sand down those spots but eventually I was able to get it. Mine was so bad I ended up having to re-paint a lot of my hood. There’s a lot of research out there from people who have way more experience than I do with this sort of stuff, so I apologize I can’t help much there. But with enough sanding and patience it can be fixed!😅💪
Owned mine since Nov 2005, 230k miles. Recently started upgrading/replacing for a 2nd life. I am retired and only put about 500 miles/mo now. I expect it to outlive me. Runs and rides great. Just repainted the bed and am looking to buy new floor mats.
I like Mobile 1 oil and filter. I like to think of it, do it yourself and run the better oil for what one saves. Never know what oil those oil change jokeys are putting in,pay for synthetic and put in conventional!🤷♂️
How are those fog lights holding up I see on line they have the same ones but they say unbranded where the name supposed to go I know they don’t come from China but that doesn’t mean nothing bad but I’ve only seen a few guys have these made a video they look really nice
They’re holding up great! And I absolutely love these fog lights! SUPER bright and they help me see what I’m supposed to see when using them. I’d go through iJDM they’re based out of California
My wife order mine off Amazon I was watching a video and one guy got a pair and they were like scratched up so I was thinking he probably got them off of eBay buddy sent him out a pair of it somebody already bought and sent back or something like that but I ordered them on Amazon just because I know I have any problems I can send it back and have them send some more out that’s one thing I like about Amazon I had people steal my packages before and Amazon still sent me out stuff that I ordered yeah I got it two days later
Actually yeah I did this before on my previous second gen, there’s mostly installs on the 3rd gens. The second gens are easier since we don’t have to remove the A pillar. Great video bro
I’ve linked the package for these clips, the different colors are to differentiate which clips go where; as the size of the holes on the truck are slightly different. Hope this helps!
@@OutdoorTaco can’t miss with your videos. I could never locate the drain plugs on the block. Toyotas are different at least to me! Thanks for your videos!
Definitely gotta do this I've had my 2012 since 2020 so it's time to change it, I had no idea about passenger and driver drain plugs, very informative, how often does Toyota say to do this?? Awesome vid 👍🏽
Looks pretty damn good bro, luckily my black 2012 taco hasn't gone through that, I will however have to give my hoodscoop shroud I guess is what you call it, a good touch up since that's the only thing fading on my hood
I’ll get to my lower ball joints ‘eventually’😂 but first I’ve been putting this project off and I’m very happy with the results! What do you guys think? Do you have any faded panels on your TACOS?
