It all started in 1995 at a small storefront on NE Sandy Blvd. in Portland, Oregon. A mom and her son wanted a skate shop in the neighborhood that everyone could come to to shred and pick up their shred supplies. Almost 30 years later, Daddies Board Shop is still supplying the stoke and tons of longboarding, skate, and snow products. Now located at 5909 NE 80th Ave Portland, OR 97218.
First comment! Good basic rundown of the board and recommendations. The lighting was a bit harsh though. Try filming closer to sunset for better lighting.
Currently practicing my tuck in the kitchen. I'm a right foot forward 45 degree left with my left foot drafting and I have to say this pose for this long is difficult.
chug it till you puke it. Point the board toward the gravity well. Pretend one foot is dance stepping forward while the back step slips magically and comfortably drafting. Your back step will secure a fast run while you lean into and forward lean two more times to a faster get down of the hill you dive down on. When you think about it....skateboarding is fun.
Don't remember the exact year but probably 1992 on roller blades. My friend Miska and I bombed Edwards AFB officers club hill and couldn't really slow down until we reached the Commissary. I never been that fast on wheels and remember wanting to stop so I stood up and experienced severe speed wobbles. I crouched down and stabilized only to pick up more speed. Zero traffic control. Hard right turn with traffic. Miska was up front and I'm trailing. The first startled vehicle kinda announced our presence and I was able to just squeak by. Looking back on that long brake section; I noted smoke and I thought my skate would catch fire. Brake replaced the next day.
they must make a good amount of money to have all this, if i wasn't such a failure in life, i would do the same thing. Respect to Landyachtz ! Living the dream
If you're going to put music in the video turn it down so it's not distracting. You want to sound loud and get the info heard but the music is louder than you.
