Daddies team rider Liam Morgan goes for a raw run in Northern New Zealand. The locals have deemed this location the "testicle facility." This road is fast and gnarly, and it eats wheels up. Filmed by Jack Boston.
Can anybody answer me this, how the hell does he heel slide without putting any effort? Are the wheels he's using that slippery? My board came with 65MM 78A Arbor Sucrose Initiative Mosh Wheels. Can I slide with those?
Jon Joe it's speed at the end of the day. Skating faster makes it way easier to kick the board out and slide. Not sure how fast he's going, but it's pretty fast. not sure what wheels he's riding, won't be too slidy or too gripy though, so they'll be ideal for this style of riding. those wheels you mentioned should be good for sliding, just break them in and commit to sliding fast. 😃
This is the type of raw run I hate. No disrespect to Liam because he is a talented rider, but this video is one of the most sped up I've seen. Crunchie does the same thing. Why can't we just keep it real guys. We all know u can't get going 30 in ten feet.
+moose kunkel notice how it doesn't get fast until he starts rolling. I've used a wide angle lens on a GoPro downhilling but it wasn't nearly as sped up as this
+moose kunkel if it really is the lens, then he needs to get a lens that doesn't make the video incredibly fast. And yes go pros can have wide lenses. Wide lenses won't speed up a video x10
Liam really isn't that great. His slides are sketchier than they are steezy. And I don't mean like Toti or Royce sketchy. Style is kinda boring too. I don't really understand the hype. The S1 team is much more watchable.
ok srsly you can´t rly compare skaters.. I mean a pure Freeride Monster won´t beat a DH monster in many ways (and of course in reverse) but it´s not about who´s better it´s about fun, skating and Sick shit and liam (and mostly every other skater) brings that. BTW. you can´t rly define the skill of someone as long as you haven´t skated with him. (im pretty sure royce can´t do toeslides as fast as liam does)
