Walk up to my car, I get nervous and fear for my life then I drive forward to neutralize a potential threat. I suffer from PTSD I have been shot twice and stabbed once.🤷♂️
As a complaintive in a current CVA case, I have to say (however they got to that #) it was a bit excessive! I would say they did a spectacular job at jury selection. Any tips, Arkady, on doing a jury selection like this? Body language, types of questions to ask, what values I should look for, what kind of backgrounds, or jurors' careers????
municipality get reports about the pothole and doesn't care and they don't care if they lose the lawsuit against you they just ignore calls and visits for years (how it works in Sweden)
Kept ? It’s more like the lawyer created 2.2 million for the client so the lawyer is entitled to a 33 percent legal fee. That’s how contingency works. Otherwise everyone the client the lawyer would get zero. Is that better ?
@@BoffManShop also think of it this way, without a lawyer, there’s a big chance that you would get 0% of the money rather than 66%. 66% of 2,200,000 is still nearly 1.5 million dollars. Would you really be complaining when someone has just helped you by filling out all the complicated paperwork that you will have no idea how to properly handle and win you over a million dollars?
Haha thanks for the teachings. Its really helped me work with the lawyers. They like “dam this guy knows a lot and is fantastic to work with!” Just got off confrence call 📞 Lmao thanks a million bud
I would never recommend my current attorney to anyone I last spoke with them in early July and I called today for a update and I was told I call to much not to bother them they will call me when they need to. I’m so disappointed I only call once every other month
Yes it does cover any injury as long as it’s a proper uninsured motorist claim. UM usually is needed when a car hits you and then flees before you can obtain their license plate. Contact is necessary. You can then file UM and obtain compensation from your own insurance
i have a slip and fall case, since 2018. policy $25million i have 5 surgery. lump back fusion, neck fusion, both shoulder and my right knee. and i have a settlement conference, next month. what you think going to be the settlement?
Verdicts will change based on venue so one county in California may be considered more plaintiff friendly with higher verdicts while another venue may be more conservative with much lower results and more defense verdicts
Could you do a video explaining what happens if you win a case and after the judgment the defendant refuses to pay it? You have great videos and I would love to hear your explanation of this situation. :-) Thx
I feel like it’s not the lawyers who are bad but the ppl they hire there paralegals n stuff because there the ones who are clueless and don’t know your case I am dealing with that now it’s very frustrating and no communication
Yea that’s why it’s good to speak with the lawyer handling your case and verify that he or she is a real trial lawyer. It’s fine to have paralegals help the lawyers but problems arise when it’s only the paralegals working on your case.
Armadura is a lawyer entitled to tell you how much your case is worth at any point in time of your case? And if he or she can’t give you that answer are they reputable in their practice or is it a red flag
No I’ve asked this on my own. I have a case where I think it’ll be over this year. I got attacked at work I suffered a broken jaw, a lacerated lip requiring 80stitches, a concussion without losing consciousness, a traumatic brain injury, a broken arm, a lumbar surgery in July of this year, & a cervical fusion surgery basically I have 13 screws in my neck. I had the fusion surgery on my neck on May 2022 & This entire incident happened in 2021 April 20 at 5:30pm. I’m a former prison guard in chicago. I took a sucker-punch to the face & it cause all of those injuries. So, lawyers can’t tell you but if you google certain things you’ll find out on your own. Like early on I mentioned retiring to my lawyer & he told me: I don’t recommend that because you’ll be leaving thousands of dollars on the table. This was in 2022. I’m dealing with the same lawyer & had another IME & my lawyer said: it’s in our favor. So, every case is truly different with all types of factors. I’m pretty sure my case is worth millions at this point because I can also no longer return to work & im gonna need financial assistance for the rest of my life. I’ve literally lost 50% range of motion in my neck, Yeah. In the thumbnail that’s me & that’s how I looked when the offender struck me. I subdued him until backup came: While my partner watched, seriously. There’s video of the incident too🤫🤫🤫
Great video as usual. You also previously mentioned that injury victims should report everything they're experiencing to their doctor. Just wondering how would a patient ensure that their doctor is doing thorough documentation? i.e. including all my medical concerns and the proper context. What do you do if we find out during deposition or trial that there's a discrepancy or a different view point between what I told the doctor and what the doctor captured in his notes? Doctors aren't always doing proper documentation, right? Thank you!
I fired 3 lawyers because I wouldn't let them treat me any type of way and the Krazy thing about it , they got rude with me lol I kept it professional as always .
@@ikomusic1 I know how you feel . No matter what I'm glad I don't use what I know against people or as a weapon ! Helping is a high no drug can match . It's what makes the world go round
Hi Arkady, great video as usual. You previously mentioned that injury victims should report everything to their doctor. Ffs, look at the markings on the road. The truck was in the middle lane and got cut off by the car, merged into the far lane to avoid it, but the car kept turning. Truck attempted to turn to avoid hitting the car, but ended up rolling. If you are really an attorney you are probably on the wrong side of every case.
I'm going to have to concur with the statement that they have blind spots but in this particular incident I believe that car was trying to block him and that driver said no!!🤯🤯🤯
Goodness I wonder how many lost their lives in that horrible wreck caused by someone super stupid! I’ve seen that type of zigzagging driving on the freeway and regular streets. Not cool!
Unfortunate for both drivers. Car driver dying and, Truck driver being involved in it, is alot of pressure. Don't purpose in pointing fingers. But a lesson can definitely be learnt from this. Do not assume the road is a safe place
It’s always a slam dunk when they don’t speak English, they obviously couldn’t read the signs especially if it’s a yield, they don’t understand green on yield for shit 😂
Wish more lawyers actually cared and have the patience and ability to tell the story like you do. I’m a fan- the one that keeps bugging you about my case here in Miami :) Your work is very much appreciated 🙏
