Hey Arkady... In some of my doctor's reports I'm noticing that they're saying that I never disclosed on how the injury happened that couldn't be further from the truth can I go back and make The doctors change this?
Yes, if you ever see a discrepancy on your visit notes, call the office to have them correct it. Better: send a message in the app or website so there's a record of your request.
Hello if a mandatory settlement conference is scheduled but we didn’t have a mediation does that mean there will be no mediation? or can a mediation can be scheduled anytime before the MSC?
Question my spine doctor says that I have issues in my back that need to be addressed, but that he can’t address them because I have a spinal cord stimulator in. I’d like to know if I get the spinal cord stimulator taken out will it affect my case value adversely?
Not at all. If you listen to medical advice that never hurts your case value. The doctor will be able to explain why that is medically necessary so it will increase case value bc it’s an additional procedure and more pain / suffering
Good Day, Back in 2020 I got into a car accident where a NYC sanitation truck T-bone me. I had to go to months of trigger points injections, physical therapy, epidural injection and I had three surgeries, lumbar fusion, a cervical fusion and repair of a left rotation shoulder cuff. I already had disposition hearing and they agree for liability. And now they schedule court to see if they're gonna take it to trial or if they could get the judge to have them come up with a reasonable settlement. My lawyer is saying they are also in the negotiation stage. But I'm feeling that the case is stuck in limbo and I understand due Covid all cases was pushed back. I've been out of work ever since I was a case worker for therapeutic foster care and a residential manager for OPWDD. Do you think this case may come to a close this year or is it gonna take years for this case to settle? Since this accident I've been battling with depression and anxiety and I really want this case to come to an end. Thanks for you help-
Listen, my friend I have a cousin in your shoes *RIGHT* now. It's going on 6 years man and he's tired of the wait. It's depressing and just tedious. Covid affected the courts but I feel you probably would still have a long wait time. But stay strong man it will be over and you can have some relief.
@@notarant5107 Thanks for the kind words. Do you know what stage in the case is your cousin in? this whole case had like a I lost 2 jobs making almost 100k, my dog got hit by a car and killed and then the passing of my mother at a nursing home It's just so hard because I also have two kids and going from working 2 jobs making almost 100K to making about 2k a month from disability which is living below the poverty line. You would think the Government will step in and help you since I've been working since I was 14 yrs old and born in raise in Brooklyn, New York. On top of still have pain, numbness down my left leg and I can't sit or stand for long periods of times.. Then all of my bills are just piling up and I pray everyday this comes to end soon. Thanks for listen-
@@northhabibi9495 Currently I think he’s in the last stage. He told me he’s *waiting* for a trial date. However, with the courts it seems it might not be until next year some time. I’m sorry for the *pain and suffering* you’re enduring man. Hopefully, the courts will see your side and *reward* you for the trouble it’s caused in your life.
Chubb is pretty good. They are all fine. Either they pay or you make them pay. The key isn’t the insurance co. The key is having a trial lawyer who can make them pay
