Thank you for this short but detailed informative video. You answered all the questions that I had in mind when I saw this product in the nearby pharmacy (thought I'd buy it after watching the reviews).
Hi Áine. I’m thinking if you could remove the entire lid (or squeeze from the bottle) and pour some of the product into a dropper bottle. Use it like a serum. I just thought this idea might help with the tacky feeling. Love the review. Thank you. X
Thanks for your help with this. I am using this for the first time and wasn't sure why not buff like the Laura Mercier loose mineral foundation....I will try this new method.
Thank you so very much for this video 🙏 I really appreciate it. I'm new to this brand and I have been applying it all wrong and with the wrong brushes too 😳😟 so this video has truly helped 🙏 I'm curious to know why it is that you don't buff this specific mineral makeup similar to the way you apply the bareminerals product? I really love the Jane Iredale products and want to know all the info I need ☺️ thank you!
Hi Kat, it's been a while, but I believe it's because the buffing motion crushes the minerals, causing them to cake, whereas the sweeping motion prevents that. I cannot remember the exact science now, sadly my memory cannot reminder the exact details.
Ah I did mention it in the video. It's to allow the minerals to be swept on in one direction, if you buff it on, they get crushed and get up looking cakey.
@@AinebeautyBlogspot ahhhh I understand now 🙂 Thank you so very much for replying back to me and explaining that information, it is so very much appreciated 🙏☺️ I already purchased and ordered a flat brush to apply it with as I had a different type of brush it was more like a buffing in type of brush 😬 I'm so glad I watched your video that helped inform me on how to apply this makeup correctly 🙏🙂 thank you! 💖
Hi I realize this video was posted 2 years ago but I’m hoping you’ll see this question - what shade are you wearing? I’ve tried this and do love most things about it but I think I just haven’t found the right shade yet. I may find it sold locally and test out another shade. My coloring is similar to yours so I couldn’t help but ask :) it looks very nice and natural on you! Thanks for the video.
Which one is stronger the inkey list retinol or la roche posay? Currently using the inkey list, they say it's 0, 1% retinol. But I want upgrade Thank you ❤️
Hello there, have you considered Fopobiacne Secrets yet? Just do a google search. On there you'll discover an awesome guidelines about how you can break free from your acne. Why don't you give it a shot? maybe it's going to work for you too.
Hi! I've just stumbled across your YT channel, and I love it! I was using Jane Iredale some years ago, but the pressed mineral foundation powder, not the lose powder. Anyway, I loved it, but didn't know about the 🧜♀️ scales, and was brushing it on kind of like Bare Minerals. Now I understand I could get an even better result than before! 😃 Regarding sunscreen, there's a brand called Evy that I think was developed for people with vitiligo. I find it works excellent on my sensitive skin and isn't greasy on the face, the way I find most other sunscreens to be, even expensive ones. A bottle lasts quite long. Thanks to the mousse bottle construction, it doesn't get old like liquid sunscreen does after a while, and you have to throw away an unfinished bottle after one season (I actually thought of this when you were talking about having to waste liquid primer). I've been using the Daily Defence Face Mousse SPF50 for a little while, and I'll continue through winter, as it contains HEV protection, and I spend quite a lot of time exposed to blue light. Considering the price of other HEV protectors I've seen, this really has a competitive price point. And no, I'm not getting a commission, I have just never enjoyed sunscreen products, and this one is actually quite tolerable.😅 www.evytechnology.com/en/
Now that I really look at their site, I can't find the Daily Defence Face Mousse SPF50 (brown bottle), strange. I don't know where you would get these products in your country, however, at least I've found it on Amazon UK: www.amazon.co.uk/Technology-Daily-Defense-Sunscreen-Mousse/dp/B0893F2JQW/ref=sr_1_33
The Green Angel face cream you mentioned at the end would be nice if you could show the texture I’m looking to invest in a hydrating cream, although you’ve said it’s thick does it leave your skin greasy? And is it ok to apply make up on top?
It's years ago now but I've gone through the comments and I've mentioned trying it with different brushes and not having much luck with it. They may now have reformulated the product - this was done back in 2013, things might have changed in the last 7 years.
😂 wow, bored much? Meh, don't mind tbh, it's almost 7 years old and clearly not the video for you. Well done on being rude though, achievement unlocked. You made me laugh though, win. Bless your cottons.
Aww thank you 😊 the voice is just way too shitty 😂. Obviously you’re channel is not one for me I need someone with personality not a basic old white lady 🤷🏻♀️
Whatever floats your boat. Cheers for the view on an old video. First time I've been called old, also thanks for that. Forever thankful that I've lived through all the shit so far and still kicking. Very fucking lucky 😊
Just been recommended this powder by a friend, so looked for reviews/tutorials - and this is such a big help and a great video! Instant fan of you :-) very down to earth and natural result at the end of it. Could you describe the eye make up you’re wearing in this video? xxx
