We are a professional board game company based in Wrocław, Poland. Known in the industry for creating deep, involving, and original games that bring inspiration to players.
I'm extremely excited about this game. I love the modular setup with the sheets on the left and right, very clever. I am curious how you intend to make sure there will be a minimal amount of spoilers while grabbing sheets during gameplay.
The bag with action tokens looks similar to Kinfire chronicles nights fall, i loved how they implemented this in theirs game, I see a lot more similarities between these games but that’s ok, Kinfire is fantastic game, I would love to play it in different setting
Well Wyrdness is everywhere and in the board game required a menhir to keep it away. There were also I think items that allowed one to travel through it for a brief period with little ill effect. Wyrdness is ever present, and ever dangerous. So making wyrdness tied to day/night cycles is just really awkward to be how it functions lore cannon. Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon board game was all about the impending doom of Wyrdness as Menhirs flicker out, and people have fewer safe havens to live in. It didn't prevent travel, but was dangerous. You'd reach new areas to explore in relative safety by lighting mehirs along the way. Some areas even have people surviving within the Wyrdness. These people don't just appear into existence because you've lit a menhir. In fact I don't think there are any lit menhir's beyond the one in your starting area from what I can remember. You've got people fueding over rulership in the west, saviors and crusades east, and even the Lady of the Lake is still around. All this within the wyrdness. Is my understanding how the Wyrdness exists wrong from playing the board game? Was I lied to be the people that made Tainted Grail that this video game is a cannon part of the lore. From these notes, this seems like a spin-off like Tainted Grail: Conquest is. Fast travel = lazy/poor world design. It's fine not to have it if traveling isn't a constant back and forth chore, especially when nothing ever changes in the environment, and NPCs. Understandably devs don't have the time and/or care to put effort into designing dynamic environments and making travel an actual system.
Perhaps it would lose it's authenticity but commercializing it in terms of mass production, with adjustment for home-playing size, would be amazing and definitely would have buyers!
Love it. Can't wait for the release P.s. Please! Fix the bug with endless blackscreen when starting Denholm cutscene in Cuanaht. I've been reporting it since Cuanacht rebelion update released and yet I can't enjoy your game!
*picks up luminesca cards* "nothing very interesting" Welp, I'm sure those of you who payed the extra $10 or backed the game early for the 'exclusive' luminesca mystling have something to look forward to. 😅
This video wasn't great. I think a video like this needs some structure. Yes, we understand some of the content within the box are wip, but that doesn't mean just throw it aside. You've made millions from crowdfunding this game (plus the countless other games funded on Gamefound), the people who put there hard earned dollars down on some cardboard and plastic deserve better. When you have someone presenting something like this in a video, they must be comfortable in front of the camera. Unfortunately, this guy wasn't it. I understand English isn't your first language and trying to find the right words must be difficult. But if that's the case, please use you native tongue and take some time & effort to write subtitles for the video. This video didn't kill my hype for the game, but if done right it could've increased the excitement level ten fold. Anyways, still looking forward on getting my copy!
*grabs luminesa card pack* "nothing very interesting" I'm sure those of you who paid extra for luminesa or got it for free will have some to look forward to. 😅 Not but for real, I needed this video. I'm trying to get over my 'buy everything AR' phase and this helps so 10/10 for that. 👏
I'm really interested in this game though I do have major concerns with the materials and the way it's presented. I find the sheet pretty ugly tbh and way too tiny for a game presented as epic, an epic game with tiny little places you're fighting on ? That doesn't really fit for me. The white thing in the middle of the sheets doesn't have the same thickness as the sheets and you can already see those moving all the time though you're pretty careful when playing. I know you said all this was to save table space but come on... What's the point in saving SO MUCH table space ? You already produced games which take a lot of space, people bought them and learned how to play them with the space they have or accommodated to enjoy it the best they could. I personally have a dedicated board game table and this game, as it is for now, just looks pretty cheap and not epic at all to me... I'm really disappointed to say the least, nothing really fits and nothing appears really well-thought to accommodate the gameplay. Well, that's just my 2 cents. I know it's @ early stages and I really do hope you'll find a better presentation for this game or it'll be a sad pass for many of us (can't tell about everyone but every people I'm speaking over this game kinda thinks the same here :/)
Maybe go watch the Andromeda’s Edge unboxing and take some notes for next time. Love your games, but this presentation does a disservice to everyone, especially backers who used to be hyped
If I compare this unboxing to the on Go on Board just did for Path of Destiny it's just night and day. How do you expect people to be excited if you look annoyed unboxing the game...
you guys have GOT to hire some one who knows how to make these videos, holy hell...a game i was excited about, after this video i was like "meh...whatever"
Or they could do what most respected publishers do: "You crybabies stfu and wait and you'll get to have a look when you receive your game at home, some time in the future, thanks, bye", like Eagle Gryphon / Lacerda games for example. AR does weekly video updates, bits of videos in a foreign language (they are polish - I almost wished they did this all in Polish so that US blokes make an effort to learn a language or at least press the subtitle button, post infos about quality of life changes, about production, about their ships, customs delays etc.
Interesting, I had the opposite reaction. When I saw the up close shots of the cards and the minis, it made me lean more toward doing a late pledge for this game.
I just learned that they said sleeved cards will not fit in the box, you will have to store a bunch of them in the box the sleeves come in, which is annoying. If any board game is selling the sleeves for its own game, they should ensure that it will still fit in the box.
@@andrewstillman9229 yeah indeed :(. I still don't know why designers/producers never leave enough room for sleeved cards... they make an expensive gorgeous game and take long to design it, at least they should understand people would want to keep their game in prime condition by sleeving their cards. But then even selling sleeves for their game and not taking those in account is kinda sad :(
The sleeved cards fit in a seperate box that comes with the sleeve package. That many cards sleeved would greatly increase the footprint of the box for it all to fit
Okay, this was an" it is the end of the workweek and we still have to do this unboxing vid. Do i really have to, okay, i will get in done in 15 minutes, no script nevessary and then we will be off to the pub for friday drinks". Although i can see from the presenters face that you really like the stuff in the box, i can also tell that this is the probably 50th iteration of all the stuff and you have seen it all before... Please do not stack it like that in a big pile and shove it around the table...😅 It hurts my eyes and my tabletop heart. For your backers it is a long anticipated product and for me personally, i would like to see you handle it with care and some respect. I know it is not the finished product in offset print.. but to me, this still looks awesome. Can't wait to receive my copy! Sorry for ranting but had to get it off my chest. It comes down to this: for all the love and dedication that you guys have put in the game...please put it in the handling and showing of the game parts by presenter as well. Post production of the vid is fine though..All of the above is my very personal opinion and might not be shared by anyone. 🤷 thank you guys for all the work you have put in so far!
Thanks for the feedback. I will never, ever do an unboxing of an unfinished (non-final) product again. It makes absolutely no sense when I can't open the package of cards because some are spoilers, some have been damaged by us to test the quality and durability of the materials, or we have to keep them in the exact same order. We can't even put them back in the box flipped, as it's proof of production, and the copy is used as a reference in case something goes wrong with manufacturing. On one hand, I was super excited-the game is incredible! On the other hand, every time I picked something up, I found myself thinking, "Oops, can't do that," "Oops, spoiler alert," or "Oops, that component is damaged." and my brain was freezed.
@@kamilciesla4980 it is great that you have taken the time to respond and explained what happened to you during the recording. Really appreciate that. The video also makes more sense to me now. 😉😄. Still I am very excited for the game and how awesome it looks. Really really beautiful. Thanks again for the effort, love and time you and your team have put in to this. Cannot wait to receive my copy! 💜
Yall gotta hurry up and fully release this game! im already on my second playthrough on early access! Seriously the game is fantastic and i cannot wait for the finished product. Amazing work so far!
