I bought the Hornet on release but never got into it. Now i am learning to use this scooter and i have to say its awesome. Thanks for your videos, for me they are by far the best out there, realy useful and strait forward.
I just cannot get this. I'm looking at the pod. Getting it steady and then push in. I stay low to keep out of the wake. As I get 2 or 3 feet from the basket, I can no longer keep the aircraft stable. It's like it gets wake turb even when you stay as low as the basket. It really is driving me nuts. Is there a way to get better at just keeping the jet stable?

now thats soldiering. i just got a HOTAS set up and im finding it tricky to get used to. A fair pilot with mouse and keyboard but its not nearly as fun ahha
watching the VOD - this was brilliant - the comms when driftwood re-tasked ya was excellent - i only play single player and miss this kind of dynamic gameplay

Great stream so far! I'm personally pretty upset with the Chinook launch. Gunners that don't work, zero options for other armament as their should be multiple options and for all intents and purposes an extremely basic aircraft. Just seems like a half-assed project put together. If you compare it to Heatblurs F-4 launch i mean... Come on.. Miles apart.
Wait, I thought the TADS and PNVS couldn't see the IR laser? What's changed? Aren't they just thermals and thermals can't see IR. I know on the new Apache they have a blended system that allows that function but not on this model.
I was looking for a beginners guide to the FA-18 radar, maybe concider doing one of those? I'll come back to check out your video later once I know what a 2 bar is, etc.
the radar scans in sweeps from side to side (this field of degrees is called azimuth), after every sweep the radarantenna changes elevation in order to scan a bigger vertical window. The more scanbars the bigger the field of vertical scan, the more azimuth the wider the field of horizontal scan.
