Hello Iam comming from a Software Engineering Beachelor. I started developing an interest for Science during these years. Sadly I haven't had much physics education could I still enroll? I was planning on taking a summer course for physics; would that be enough?
Yes, of course. Why not? Working in Quantum Technology requires just grit, desire, and willingness to learn a wide variety of ideas and concepts about 'a world' that we can not see and in which our lives do no directly experience.
@@terrillfrantz Thank you so much sir for inspiring me !!!! Just need to clarify one doubt, I have seen universities which need physics degree ,.How do i prove it sir as i am not graduated in physics in bacholers. Is it sufficient to do courses like on EdX and get the certified?
Sir what if we don't have a major in quantum mechanics as I am an engineering student, and also I have enrolled in various online QC courses Sir will get accepted?
I am going to graduate with a masters degree in physics in the upcoming year. Are students holding masters degree eligible for this program? If you know any info on this please let me know and I highly appreciate it.
@@vv6533 it depends on what subjects you have chosen in bachelors and masters they have given a certain number of subjects if you have qualified their criteria then well and good
@@physicsandtechnology8794 I looked into their website and I found that they're only asking bachelor's degree credentials and coursework information. Masters degree is not mentioned there. My bachelor's degree only covered fundamental quantum mechanics and is not equivalent to the topics covered in German bachelor's degree. In India the bachelor degree in pure science usually spans for 3 years and they don't cover much topics.
@@physicsandtechnology8794 but the problem is that I am not familiar enough with this field to start doing research. I think a masters would help me a great deal by giving a good introduction to both the theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum computing. Then the transition to PhD will be smooth. If you come across any other programs that may be accepting masters student then fee free to comment here.
@@physicsandtechnology8794 The course is very cool. Covers many very interesting research directions. About the placement opportunities I don't know. Currently it's the first semester of the first batch. But about 2 billion € of funding are planned of the German state for Quantum Tech. At least a PhD should work out
