Should have took that in fold it as tight as you could mark it get down on the ground disconnected from the other end and go ahead and do that end while you're down on the ground you have it marked it'll be easier to put the cable clamps on while it's on the ground then hook that end up and then bring your tensioner in back and start screwing it in
IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DANCE, THEN THE FLOOR IS CROOKED: AT897 was designed for Sydney World Cup 1994. Surely, it has a positive point. Otherwise it will not get into World Cup Show. All preamps creates some noise when you increase level higher. You must know how to solve this problem. There are many controls before sound reaches to the recorder. Starting from mic itself, +/-dB control, low cut, gain control in mixer, compressor, EQ, channel main control, PAD, ducking control, low cut, master control, limiter, etc. You must be able to identify the fault immediately. In one of a live program recording I lost 168 second sound due to my own mistake. Crispy sound, noisy sound, rubble sound: all are in the hand of the operator. You know well, most mics are good; you don't know well, none of the mic is good for your. If you want problem free recording buy a Zoom Recorder. Just set the limiter and go. All fine
"I'm lazy & I don't want to post-process audio ever if I can avoid it". This! Thanks for the review especially when you showed the room was not even treated.
Omg I’ve been adding water to the back tank instead of dumping it out. Eew glad I watched this. Moved from Alaska to NJ and the water here is beyond disgusting. We have a whole house filter and still the PPM are around 400! Aquatru brings it to 50’s.
The DBX 286S has an EIN of -125dB. It’s only a good value used for the preamplification, if the input you connect it to has no preamp and no phantom power. If the input you use it on has both, getting a sE Electronics DM-1 or the Cloud Microphones CL-1 is a better value, just for being lower noise, with an EIN of -129 dB and even below. But nobody would buy this thing as a mere preamplifier anyways. Nice review and demo about this device!
I use steel rope often and what helps me is to wrap the cable around the thimble and secure it with a zip tie or tape if that's all you have, something to act as a 3rd hand and hold the cable in place while I screw down the clamps. I also have all the lock nuts in my top pocket so I can drop them into the nut driver and get those clamps on quickly and properly. I'm building a modified version of this type of run today
Omfg, lmao: Got a Canvas buckle belt for Christmas. On my break at work, trying to loosen my belt because it's on too tight. Watch video after video, trying to find my exact belt, while having trouble breathing. Halfway through this video I managed to get it off by bashing at it with my car keys. Goddammit!
Is there a video of the super heavy duty dog run? I have a dogue de bordeaux and he will weigh around 180 pounds and want to make sure that this would hold up.
Extremely useful stuff! After clicking that export button so many times I just had to find something to speed up the process. Thank you for sharing this!
this is pretty much what i have been doing with software using a vst host and a chain of plugins but im getting sick of trying to fiddle with that all of the time especially since im trying to switch from windows to linux. this is the exact kind of thing i am looking for i think.
The Shure SM7B is an XLR mic and will not connect directly to your computer. You will have to use an audio interface. In my case, I am using a Focusrite. Depending on your audio interface you may need to download drivers from their website.
Did you use the screenbar for the longtime? I ask because we are using a similar laptop (I'm on the Yoga Slim 7) and it is impossible to use this lamp on a laptop with such a thin bezle. This lamp causes unwanted pressure on the display and leave ripple marks. What is your opinion? How long and how often do you use the lamp? Greetings.
I don't use my laptop often enough. My desktop PC is my primary driver. With that said, I never ran into any problems using the screen bar despite having a narrow bezel. If you are seeing ripple marks on your screen and feel that the lamp weight and contact points are the cause I would not use it.
Can someone help me? I use a laptop. I have a Shure SM7B, Scarlett 2i2, Cloudlifter, and DBX 286s. The Expander gate works amazing. There is a major problem though. My laptop fan is super loud and it is right in front of me, so it my mic will not filiter out the fan no matter what I set the Expander gate to. This means that whenever I talk, the fan is just there whenever I talk. It is very hearable. Please help.
Thanks a lot for this very clever idea. I however did modify your witty set-up to suit what I already owe : several Andoer base plates to fit on a light Manfrotto tripod and Ronin SCI2 and a Benro Turtoise tripod with a S4Pro video head. As this latter one as a long 501PL plate which doesn't fit in the Ronin, I fitted the Benro long plate and screwed it tight on the tripod and screwed the Andoer Quick release plate on it, keeping my ordinary Ronin plate (of small size) on Lumix S5 and it works like a charm ! Thousand thanks to you ! You made my day and saved me hours (already spent quite a few) trying to find an alternative.
