great analysis, jimmy/saul/gene has the best writing of any tv character in my opinion, and bob plays him incredibly. gene’s moral degradation and eventual capture were both gut wrenching and entertaining as hell to watch. i also love how the gene scenes in season 6 really hammer home how much destruction walt caused to everyone and everything around him

He writes like shit and whoever thinks he's a good writer is dumb as fuck. His brother is actually a pretty good writer but him? Y'all got fooled by his gimmicks and his arrogant "I'm the new Kubrick" pose. He ain't. He ain't original enough, interesting enough, he isn't even complex as people think. He's just one more hollywood guy with big ideas and less than basic storytelling capacities. Mas honestly can think how can ppl think a movie like batman begins is great with all that jenky and clunky editing
All I know, is that Chistopher Nolan can't write a memorable female role to save his life. No meat on the bones of any female character in any of his films. That's why Dunkirk is so good. No women for him ruin with weak writing.
F*er can't write anything good himself. Anything good he's done including and especially Batman is done by a ghost writer who's actually planning Nolan's torture and death right now!

you should always put clips of what you're talking about on screen . i know it takes more time but you wont get views ever without that , i feel like it's the number 1 rule of ytb videos but the writing is good so keep going, also try talking in a clearer way and have better sound mixing between your voice and background song👍

You really need to slow down and pause when talking. This was 10 minutes of non stop talk. Slow down and pause between sentences so people can process and think about what you just said.
*Really strong, holistic description (that I'll send to ppl unfamiliar with the Sopranos as a primer), and the music is a great choice... but did you kind of miss including that his mother's borderline personality disorder contributed to/was pulled into his family's dysfunction as well? *Yes, the cycles of violence/corruption are throughly explored, but so is the 'generational curse' of mental health issues, which imo is what makes seasons 3 & 4 so interminable... there's insufficient onscreen violence/corruption lol.

Soderbergh has something a lot of modern directors lack, or at least lack in much of their work; deliberate intention. His stories and how he tells them have intention. 'X' and 'Y' choice isn't made because it is cool, but that it serves the story. This is why he's a master of scenes meaning multiple things. Often you get the feeling his movies are saying more than they know. With in many scenes there isn't just character development, plot advancement, story arc, world building, or foreshadowing...; they are doing two or three of those things at the same time. His movies aren't 'well told' so much as 'well spun', if that makes sense. In spite of the wide range of his projects he has one of the clearest voices in cinema.
Wow, only nine comments from 13,000 views. I thought this was the first honest review. So often movies get good reviews because it feels like movies with a certain feel, theme, genre, societal connections.... Well, this movie is so far from mainstream center expectations that it is bound to have extremist actions. A lot of people won't see it because of nudity. Those who see what is behind/beneath what they see will react with awe struck awareness and openness of thought. Understanding will not really come for several days after.
