Unfortunately I left for a career move that ultimately didn't work out. I'm in GA and Bout to move to either Florida or try to come back home.

yessir ofc! So I like to use anything from 9 to 10 foot rods that are medium heavy with a 3000 sixed reel.. the I run 20 pound braid with a 23 pounf mono section that is about 5 feet long so i can run my bobber on the mono and not the braid ( putting the bobber on the braid ends up in a lot of tangles) then my bobber i run a 15 gram Bloodrun float the is stacked spiltshot pattern that balances out your float to the orange part.. the I run a ant swivel with a 2 food leader of 14 pound floro to a skein hook!

I have honestly been keeping it super simple this season.. i just butterfly the skein and put it in a bad and pour boraxofire on it and shake the bag up till it is all the same color!

Appreciate the tip but when u are constantly mending your line with the barber it’s hard to set the hook down river… and then when you hook them, the fish are going straight to wood immediately so there’s no way to even let off pressure cause I’ll go straight to the wood and break you off… all the holes I was fishing early season are full of wood and there’s no choice to let off pressure. Thank you for the tips though.
