Hi ..how long do you need to explore jonan-gu shrine properly. Is one hour enough? Also i am visiting this in april 2024...will i get to see sakura blossoms?
Hi!When I went in early March, cherry blossoms weren't out, but weeping plum blossoms were. We spent 1 hour 30 minutes; I'd recommend at least 1 hour. You're visiting next April - fantastic! I haven't seen cherry blossoms at Jonan-gu, but mid-April is said to be the best time. Enjoy your trip! :)
@@sunamauve i have already been to Japan this year... I fell in love with it so I am visiting again!!! I am looking for places I have missed in Kyoto during my visit last time...and your video helped me with my itinerary. Thanks again ❤️
Hi Suna! lovely video! thank you so much for all the recommendations and for the beautiful walk, i will definitely visit the Jonangu Shrine. im thinking of visiting next february 26 to 29. Do you think the plum blossom will bloom around that time?
Hi, thank you for watching leaving a comment. Depending on the temperature, this year the best time to see the flowers was from March 2. Around February 26th this year, they were still at about 50% bloom, but two years ago at the same time, they had bloomed early and were in full bloom (according to the Shonan-gu Shrine's website). I hope that when you visit next year, they will be in full bloom.
Hi! I took a tour with round-trip bus ticket from JTB travel agency last year, and you can also buy round-trip bus ticket from Summer Sonic official website. Not announced yet, but usually on sale around the end of next month! JTB tickets that include a round-trip bus ticket must be pre-selected at the time of purchase as to where and when to board!
@@pajinuna You can return anytime, but your ticket will be consumed. Buses are not always on standby and you may have to wait for a bus depending on how crowded it is.
