After changing bulbs on both sides, I realized the bulb sockets were worn out and not allowing for constant contact. Just a little more info that may help someone having similar problems!
Yeh I do too. The tubing was cool, I heard some horror stories after I posted this vid about someone being stabbed years ago no idea if it's true. the pedestal placement at the camp ground made parking "interesting".
I have a Ranger, and a great hack is to use electrical shrink tubing and put 2 layers on the right side clasp, then you can open and close it with your hands
PLEASE STOP PUTTING ON THE WEB WHERE THESE PLACES ARE. Use to be someone had to do there own research to find trails. Nowadays nay douche bag can see videos like this and go. This is why our nations trails are getting trashed and ultimately closed.
we did not use the bath houses, the main thing is remember was website said something like "sewer available" which meant they had a dump station, not that they were full hookup
I totally disagree with most of your negative review. We loved this campground and would definitely come again! We used to work at a KOA and completely understand the KOA vehicle traffic, especially in a park that is 110 acres. Maintaining a campground is a constant busy task. I agree that the escort process needs improvement. The young individuals cooking pancakes did a great job and they are J6 exchange students trying their best. We enjoyed the food at the Peak restaurant.
i very rarely poat negative reviews. this is actually the 2nd video. the first one i filmed was 30 minutes with all the negativity of our experience. This is the less -negative version of the video. This campground has the potential to be awesome but the execution / management clearly is struggling compared to then other 50+ koas we have been to and 5 koa resorts
We stayed on the Beach side. The Beach side is huge, the Bay side is substantually smaller. However if I remeber on the Bay side you can actually camp right up to the water with a view. There is no view on the Beach side because there was a dune between the campers and the beach. (so your view was a sand dune lol )
It should be site 42. You can pull into the tent camping area, and then back straight into the site so backing in should be easy, and it's also directly across from the restrooms. the sign at 4:26 that says "one way do not enter" is the road towards site 41.The road at 4:30 is the tent camping loop on the map.
Great video and thabk you for the details of sections of Dutch John. I am planning a trip to N.C with my rig and Uwharrie is a bucketlist to drive and enjoy. I am trying to see which trails off some challenge but not extremely difficult either.
We love our Cricket SX-3. Main benefit for us is that it fits in the back of our pickup (6.5" bed) with the tailgate closed. The remote makes loading/unloading very easy.
Great video! Just subscribed to your channel. Did you have to air-down your tires? My wife and I will be in the area at the end of April and I'm trying to convince her that we should drive this trail in "her" Jeep Wrangler.
We’ve only stayed in Vegas in the rv once and stayed at Arizona Charlie’s and will never stay there again! Oasis is where someone suggested we stay next time. Thanks for the review! We will definitely stay there next time!!
Collapsed, will it fit sideways in a full size truck bed, in front of a 5th wheel hitch? Enough to not interfere with the towing capability and trailer?
I went as kid that lake used to have a 3 story tower with a zip line that went down towards the game room. It also used to have swings and slides in the lake. It has expanded. Glad to see it now. Do they still have horsebacking riding?
Hey! We’re staying on site 32 this summer . But we are tent camping and with like 7 kids! Do you think it’ll be a good spot for us or do you have any other suggestions?
