So instead of looking on RU-vid to see how to apply thermal paste on a Xbox 360 you throw away a classic console and buy another one?!?! How many consoles you going to buy before you learn how to open one and smear paste on a CPU? 🤣
So I actually recorded explaining, but cut it out because I thought I was rambling - I have still have my original Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 S (theyre both in storage) and that when I get time (this season of life is extremely busy with work and kids), I'll fix the original 360 Red Ring of Death by trying to resolder it and with the S repaste the CPU (assuming that IS the actually solution. all i did was a quick search for my issue and just glanced over reddit comments). But yeah, had that actually been the situation tossing them, that would be upsetting. 😆
8:58 Xbox 360s are the most painful consoles i have done any work on to open, so many clips not sure if they fixxed it up at all for the E but the og phat is a nightmare
@@squishylemon8577 saw a teardown video of a 360E and when I saw you had to remove the shroud, I said “frick it I’ll just use a shop hose to try and clean it”
@@JJJcoolstuff surprisingly yes. I’m not s fan of 3rd party accessories, but PowerA did a good job with these. Still use it every day to charge my joy cons.
@@SwoleKagé I’m currently multi-streaming to RU-vid and Twitch. I use this device every stream. I mostly use it to capture my main PC and use the Elgato HD60S+ for console capture. Only advice I have is just make sure you set up all your setting in Streamlabs or OBS correctly and you’ll be fine. This devices maxes out at 1440p capture. So, if you have the specs and the bandwidth, you could actually stream to RU-vid at 1440p.
To be honest, I don’t use my Elgato with my interface. For console audio, I just send it through my monitors speakers, which I can still hear just fine through my headphones.
