Recently decided to upgrade my main PC’s RAM to 64GB from 32GB.
I’ve been getting to more video editing on my PC and have noticed 32GB has not been enough to get the job done.
I don’t recommend 64GB unless you are doing similar work.
My RAM amount recommendation for each application
8GB: Casual PC use and gaming with games that aren't resource intensive.
16GB: All you need for any gaming
32GB: Gaming and doing something resource intensive at the same like streaming or running other applications.
64GB: Editing high resolution video and photos
More RAM doesn’t make things “more fast”. It gives you a “higher ceiling” to work with.
