Hi - do you still have this? If so I was wondering if the boardset has a small PCB attached via a ribbon cable, it would be on the bottom one in the set usually. These supported 'com link' to allow multiple to be chained together but it uses a small interface PCB that I'm unable to find so far. If I can find just one, I'll reproduce them so people can link cabinets again.
It's using the stock drive with the original ultimate upgrade disc, copy drivers needed to the harddrive using another PC and when you run it windows will try to install the new drivers before launching the game.
@@christophorusvids I assume you need a dongle to allow ultimate to play? I have 2 of these cabinets and would like to upgrade them for home use. But cannot find the dongles to buy.
I remember playing this game at a comic shop in 1991 and had a lot of fun with it. I've played it in MAME and it's not the same without the steering wheel & shifter. I'd like to get my own cabinet some day or just the PCB and build a driving game cabinet that I could swap out multiple boards into since I have some already like Speed Buggy. Very nice video. If you do another video on Big Run, can you do one of yourself playing it some more? Maybe with less glare, but I appreciate the effort you put in already. Would a Cisco Heat by Jaleco be easily swappable into the cabinet or would some changes be needed like the power supply, etc?
This game had a 4 board stack in a cage and was a nightmare to work on and repair. Its probably the reason they are not common because they are hard to fix. This game was sold to a local collector who was also a big fan.
@@christophorusvids it’s some kind of Dell. The tech came out to me today and took the pedestal with the computer and boards to fix it so I’ll find out in the next day or 2 what the issue is.
@Bubbs well then I would say even an arcade1up Simpsons cabinet is definitely worth 500 bucks seeing as they are now pricing those things at 700. And from what I've seen of that thing the button layout seems pretty standard.
The bikes are like the ones upstairs in Mack's Amusements Bundoran Co Donegal. Here I am on the Manx TT Superbike upstairs in the Bowling Alley in Bundoran Co Donegal. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kDYMvVhjcJA.html I am really looking forward to seeing you fixing you Manx TT Superbike up and I can't wait to see it working and I am very excited to see your Manx TT Superbike in Action please?
Nice video, I can't wait to get this game going and play it. The right side looks complete with monitor and boards. The other side will need more work. I think I have found a matching monitor for it but it's going to need work.
@@christophorusvids I agree with you I can't wait to see you getting this game going and I am really excited and looking forward to seeing you playing it by finishing the Laxley Coast Course and the TT Course from start to finish followed by the Credits please? Which could be an idea that when the Manx TT Superbike came back to Strandhill Amusements Co Sligo in August 2006 the sound was gone off it and there was only sound of the Motorbike on the right side when you put €1 into Manx TT Superbike but the €1 Coin wouldn't go into the Manx TT Superbike because it was damaged by people putting paper clips into the Coin slot for free Rides and a child broke the handle bar of the Motorbike on the right side. On the motorbike on the left side there was a green button and a yellow button on the right side. In September 2009 you couldn't see the screens right and the Manx TT Superbike got all damaged in May 2010 and the Manx TT Superbike had to be taken back to the Almo Tec the company of Arcade Games in Tuam Co Galway and the Byrnes never got a new Manx TT Superbike to replace the old one in Strandhill Co Sligo and the Manx TT Superbike in Strandhill Co Sligo was a different model compared Perks, Youghal South East Cork and Galway is half the distance from Strandhill Co Sligo 4 hours down to Cork in Ireland.
@@RGBtheRhinoOverwatcher I just tried it now 2 years later. Widescreen 16:9 patch enabled & 'Disable interlace offset' on, this game runs in 4K @ 60FPS smooth as butter on PCSX2 Nightly. PS2 emulation definitely worth considering for people who want another option besides original hardware for this game. Also, as of 4 days ago, "Ultimate Arctic Thunder boots in dev only, but is still unstable." on TeknoParrot
Had the same issue on my k7000 although not as bad, full white screens or a picture with a lot of white are using a lot of power so lack of power will cause the screen to Bloom or Flicker.
I have the same problem with my 25". I've recapped, reflowed, changed the VR three times, and new flyback. Nothing has changed. My only other idea is to try another tube, maybe it's the yoke???
Awesome arcade cabinet man. I've almost bought this one a few times. There were not many arcade baseball games that had all the real MLB teams and players. I 've never played it. Is this one of the best ones out there?
