I respected all of it but Total Eclipse was excellent, and since it's my favorite Klaus Nomi song (big surprise there) that means I hold others to a higher standard and you met it. Although Cold Song is probably the musically most impressive thing here.
Klaus didn't have to resort to cheap displays of his sexual preferences. He had taste about it, it gave him more mystique as an artist. However, it still takes talent to sing like that.

Das ist der letzte Scheiß. Hat mit Klaus Nomi mal gar nichts zu tun. Eher kommt es rüber wie eine Verlächerlichung seines Lebens. Und auch wenn Nomi schwul war, so wollte er doch als Künstler in die Geschichte eingehen,.. Seine Sexualität war eine Nebensache für ihn. Er trennte seine Kunst mit seinem Privatleben da er die Kunst sein wollte. Dieses "Theaterstück" ist das aller Letzte!
PLEASE ignore and forgive the people complaining that YOUR Nomi isn't the REAL Nomi. What you have done here is amazing: working very hard - and with great ambition - to present the spirit of Mr. Nomi and his times . . . and not a clever, unimaginative Nomi impersonation. By creating this how, you were keeping the IDEA of Nomi alive. Congratulations. (A film about Freddie Mercury is being made. No one has seen a frame of it - and yet people are already saying how terrible it will be!)
i clearly hadn't known if i liked it or not, until the moment the After The Fall chorus began. A very good rendition. I've started to wanna perform some Nomi's song at one of my performances. UBU NOIR Do you intend to ask what this is an excerpt from? In that case: it is from a music theatre production in Oslo, Norway back in 2011. A fiction story around the character Klaus Nomi. Including a musical score with some of the songs Nomi used to sing.
With the modern kind of techniques to make pop, electronic music, Nomi would have make a music so wonderful that people wouldn't pay attention to the shity music we have on radios and internet nowadays. Such a great tribute.
