AMAZING! Gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. Best version I've ever heard! This performance should be the standard for "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
Flushed witkessly down the drain by an electorate that handed a victorious superpower with over a quarter of the world's resources, that had defeated its enemies without and crushed many of its enemies within, over to a cabal of bumbling socialists and halfwit radicals. Within six years of Atlee's unfortunate election, Britain was in worse shape than in 1945. Apart from a brief stemming of the hemorrhage during Churchill's four year retuen, and eleven years of Thatcher's reactionary administration, it has been a downhill trainwreck ever since. Never has the world needed a strong Britain more than now. A hundred billion pounds a year could build the third largest fleet in the world, and one of the worlds largest air forces, together with a reasonably large army. And 20 billion invested in the nations industrial base would make Britain a tiger economy that could add the equivalent GDP of a nation like Taiwan or South Korea. Instead a collection of motiveless mush sleepwalking the country into oblivion...
Very good voice. Unfortunately when you try to alter the song to make it yours you are showing ego, not artistry. I wish I could hear you do it as it was written.
It disappeared with drug addiction and all of the traps set to destroy us. Can't even discipline our children but the police will one day in the worst way.
C’est amusant quand même d’entendre dire, que Churchill était préoccupé par la démocratie en Pologne, ou ailleurs, préoccupé, il l’était, mais pas dans le sens où vous voulez nous emmener, Churchill et la démocratie😂
What a voice! Incredible performance, of the singer and the pianist both; even though I am more used to the quicker, faster version of this song, this version here was just pure beauitful! I loved it!
This was the third time Churchill was right, and the first time people listened to him. He warned about German before WWI and WWII, but was brushed aside.
