Hello, my name is Billy Cobb. I like to experiment making rock music. Just like every other music artist, I try to get noticed. Part of getting noticed is having a youtube channel, so here it is.
King gizzard is accurate as hell Literally me 2 days ago to somone I just met “Oh yeah I listen to king gizzard” Conversation devolved into me talking about the band and her going “oh cool” it was great
Man this is really good. I hope it inspires other musicians to copy the sound, then maybe in 20 years somebody can make "Do you still remember this song?"
Can't believe this video and NOBODY in this comment sectioned has mentioned The Doors (or The New Order, since they were the continuation of Joy Division)
Lord Huron, Miracle Musical, Jack Stauber, AJR, Will Wood, or Lemon Demon: you're mentally ill (Yes i know Miracle Musical is connected to Tally Hall. And _maybe_ Lord Huron is my favorite artist and _maybe_ i think they should fit within that space.)
I feel like all that happened in the late 2000s/early 2010s was that the "badadadadada" and the twinkles got louder, while the 90s acoustic guitar phased out and was replaced by ukulele or synths. Add the millennial whoop to that and you've basically got early 2010s music
