Yes! Such an appropriate card for this week, 1st Bee. 💜🐝💜 (If you're like, what are they talking about, the video doesn't have bees, this is in reference to Card of the Week given to my mailing list and Patrons, weekly. )
That was an amazing monthly reading! I loved all the effects….winds, lighting, and when you mentioned animals ( in reference to our communities ) a crow let itself be known. 😀 It has been an intense sticky summer indeed. I think it’s really sweet how you and your mom took a road trip in memory of your dad. 💚 I’m sure he was there with you both. Gosh those shades of blue look beautiful on you. ⭐️💕⭐️ - Sabrina
Nevermind taking over this channel, Mrs. Claus. Take over the whole holly jolly holiday season! Well, except for Krampusnacht. ;-) LOL You are brilliant!
I always love seeing your face! However, for COW, I like to read things, go back and forth to re-read things, stare at and study the cards in great detail, etc. Easier for me to focus on the picture with writing.
I enjoyed this format very much. It’s always wonderful seeing your beautiful face, and what a nice deck, I resonated with that card….had a comforting 70’s look to it, 🌼
Oh yes that book is so underrated. I had my second go around with it after a female spirit latched onto un during a vacation to Scotland. So I hit that book hard hoping to find this young spirit's name somewhere in it. It wasn't....but it was the first step in finding her story in one of Dione Fortune's book.
Glad the story was found and the book reread! I'm in and out of it a lot these days as the book adaptation into a live performance piece grows. They lived such potent lives!
You look lovely, as always! Love those arm warmers! While you were showing the card, "The Star," I had an interesting take on that card. Since we are seeing the merman/mermaid from the back, we have no idea as to gender. And this would be a MAJOR mental block for many. They would spend more time discussing the gender identity, and very little time on the message which "The Star" brings us. What they miss (and Marcus Aurelius said so well) is that truth (and wisdom) come to us in many types of vessels. And not just an elderly caucasian gis-gendered heterosexual male. So, my thought is that the quest for equality will be a long hard slog with different social locations focusing on the vessel, while ignoring the message.
Merfolk have quite the legacy within the LGBTQAI2+ group, quite plausibly *because* they all have a tail. There are no visible sex organs. Just the being. Truth and wisdom do indeed come to us from all different bodies, human as well as other than human. And there may continue to be those more focused on the vessel rather than the message, however The Star also reminds us to shine brightly, make constellations, give thanks to the physical and metaphysical world, not being afraid to center our story. And knowing everyone else to centers their personal stories too. A question, is how to make sure each unique perspective is heard and respected?
Hello you two! I've been online shopping for new decks online. I love that the RU-vid algorithm inspired me to drop by your channel today. Your thumbnail was attractive. Thank you for taking the time to show the artwork of the Tarot of the Sidhe cards! 😃😃😃
I am so very happy that my book evoked such deep experiences within you. I, likewise, loved all four of the women, as each spoke to a different part of myself - awakening memories of other times and the struggles of being a woman at the dawning of our modern times. Kate, your presentation brought so many memories back for me. Thank you for doing this.
When did you discover that you are a witch (amongst wondrous things)? It was Auitumn 1980, when I found out that I was an empath. Before that, I had no idea what "tag" I should "wear."
Thank you so much for the question, David! I discovered I was a witch after reading Dr. Leo Lewis Martello's book, Witchcraft the Olde Religion. Before that I stomped out of the Catholic Church and sat comfortably in an agnosticism that believed in The Great Spirit - all I knew of Cherokee beliefs from my grandmother's grandmother - and The Force from Star Wars. It wasn't animism at the time; I hadn't gotten there yet, but I did grok the science of everything being matter and different configurations of atoms which is still true.
