Any more news on this? This will be great for Construction Logistics, Construction Planning and Tender Visualisation.. I cant wait to get my hands on this and would love to test it <3
When I try to export from blender @ 8:40 I get thrown an error. The only way to fix is to convert the curves to mesh.. is this an ok workaround? If not how do I fix?
it will never be a reales version for public ? how log do you develop this simple addon, lol...what a scam over the last months. ...really sad for whole blender community
Hi thanks for your video. I don't understand why my tracking points are "broken". It seems like it doesn't fit with the distance of the Google Earth scene.
The plugin seems to be broken in Blender 4.1. I get a python error when trying to export an object as a KML: Python: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\[REDACTED]\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.1\scripts\addons\GES_Panel_1_2.py", line 356, in execute objecttokml() File "C:\Users\[REDACTED]\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.1\scripts\addons\GES_Panel_1_2.py", line 920, in objecttokml bpy.ops.object.convert(override,target='MESH') ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 4.1\4.1\scripts\modules\bpy\ops.py", line 106, in __call__ C_exec, C_undo = _BPyOpsSubModOp._parse_args(args) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 4.1\4.1\scripts\modules\bpy\ops.py", line 60, in _parse_args raise ValueError("1-2 args execution context is supported") ValueError: 1-2 args execution context is supported
Does it create the scene as actual geometry or is it just displacing a flat plane by its normals? If it is actually changing the geometry, then I might just get for my architecture.
Since the Google Earth Studio animations come from Google, and the 3d models of the selected areas come from Google, why can't Google just combine the ability in Google Earth Studio to set up an animation, choose selected areas of that animation to get 3d meshes (already aligned), and export that data for use in Blender in the highest quality form that Google has available? That should be the starting point of the Blender/After Effects project.
You've made all these videos about this but the GitHub has 3 year old code with no explanation of even what blender version you are using? Id love to use and contribute to such a tool but where is it?
Hello teacher! In Google Studio, the KML route and path (road) are aligned, but after importing into Blender, the KML and road are severely offset. How can this problem be solved? I sincerely hope to receive your help to solve this deviation problem! Thank you!
